DOUBLE OPENING STORAGE DEVICE
A double opening storage device includes two opening and closing mechanisms that open and close a lid leftward and rightward relative to a box body. Each opening and closing mechanism include: a shaft member disposed so as to be coaxial with a rotation shaft; a support member that supports the shaft member so as to rotate the shaft member; an urging member that generates urging force for rotating the shaft member relative to the support member in an opening direction; and a locking device that holds the lid in a closed state against the urging force, and cancels, by an opening operation, holding of the lid. The shaft member and the support member include opposing surfaces, respectively, which are spaced from each other in the lid closed state, and projections, respectively, which interfere with each other while the lid is shifting from the closed state to a predetermined opened state.

INERTIA DEVICE IN AN ARMREST CONSOLE
An inertia device is provided for attaching under a cover of an armrest console in a vehicle. The inertia device comprises a flap to be pivotally connected to a lower surface of the cover at a location adjacent to a front of the cover; and a resilient member connected to the flap and the cover. The flap and the resilient member are configured such that the flap is maintained at a normal position by a retaining force of the resilient member and rotated downward from the normal position when a g-force applied to the flap exceeds a predetermined level.
COMPONENT FOR VEHICLE INTERIOR
A component for a vehicle interior is disclosed. The vehicle trim component may comprise a base comprising a compartment; a cover coupled to the base configured for movement relative to the compartment; a blocker coupled to the base configured to selectively engage with the cover; and a mechanism coupled to the blocker. The mechanism may be configured to move the blocker between a deployed position when the cover is not engaged with the blocker and a retracted position when the cover is engaged with the blocker.
Console lid integrated dual pawl latching package
A vehicle center console assembly includes a console having a side wall dimensioned to receive a bin therein and a bin including a side wall having a top edge including a pair of opposed strikers. A hinged bin lid includes a dual pawl latching mechanism disposed on a bottom surface thereof whereby the dual pawl latching mechanism does not extend beyond an exterior dimension defined by the bin lid. The bin lid may include a pair of opposed bin lid side walls. The latching mechanism is disposed on the bin lid bottom surface whereby a gap is defined between an outer portion of the latching mechanism and an inner portion of the opposed bin lid side walls. The console side wall includes a top edge configured to define a mating surface for the bin lid side walls.

INTERIOR APPARATUS OF A VEHICLE
A hook of a lock structure is rotatably supported by a knob. Therefore, a biasing force of a hook biasing spring can be regulated independently from a knob biasing spring. Accordingly, the biasing force of the hook biasing spring can be regulated smaller than a biasing force of the knob biasing spring. As a result, sounds generated when locking the lock structure can be decreased.
