ADVANCING/RETREATING MOVEMENT DEVICE
An advancing/retreating movement mechanism 1 of an advancing/retreating member includes: a lifter 3; a coil spring 5; a lock pin 7 that limits the movement of the lifter 3; a case 2 that accommodates the lifter 3 and the coil spring 5; an advance/retreat position control mechanism 9 that controls an advance position, a retreat position, and a reciprocating movement of the lifter 3; and a receiving seat 11 that receives the coil spring 5 so that the lifter 3 is biased. The receiving seat 11 is arranged in a rearward position side of the lifter 3. An engaging part 27a engaging the lock pin 7 is arranged to the lifter 3. When the lifter 3 moves to the retreat position, the engaging part 27a moves to a rearward side beyond the receiving seat 11 and moves to a position where the engaging part 27a can be engaged with the lock pin 7. Therefore, the size of the advancing/retreating member in a protruding/withdrawing direction can be made small.
ACTUATING DEVICE FOR A MOVABLE PART
An actuating device for a movable part, in particular a cover of a vehicle body opening, including at least one actuator and at least one electromechanical switching element, wherein the electromechanical switching element can be brought from a first mode into a second mode by means of the actuator, wherein in the first mode the electromechanical switching element senses an actuation by means of the actuator and in the second mode the electromechanical switching element releases the actuator such that the actuator can be moved toward the movable part, wherein the electromechanical switching element has an electroactive polymer and/or a piezoelectric element.

Actuator for vehicles
An actuator for vehicles has a motor having an output gear, a gear member, a slide member, and an accommodation member. The gear member has a first gear part meshed with the output gear and a second gear part provided coaxial with the first gear part on a rotational plane identical to that of the first gear part and has a shape different from a shape of the first gear part. The slide member has an input gear meshed with the second gear part. The accommodation member accommodates the motor and the gear member and accommodates a part of the slide member where the input gear is provided so that the slide member is driven by the motor to be linearly moved.

Fasteners and Other Assemblies
The invention discloses several types of fastener, fastening systems, fastener assemblies and related areas.
In particular, the invention relates to a releasable fastening system (50) which has a pin (152) with a locking cavity (163). The pin is intended for insertion in an aperture (154). A locking means (158, 160) engages the locking cavity (163) of the pin (152) when the pin (152) is received in the aperture (154). The system (150) also includes unlocking means (162) which includes material adapted to contract when activated. When a material contracts, engagement means (158) included in the locking means (158, 160), disengage the locking cavity (154).

CABLE MODULE, VEHICLE, AND METHOD OF PRODUCING VEHICLE
A cable module includes a retaining member and a cable member. The retaining member includes a base portion, a guide portion, and an attaching portion. The cable member placed on the base portion includes a grip portion and a cable. The guide portion configured to guide the cable is provided on a surface of the base portion. The attaching portion protrudes from the base portion. The retaining member is configured to retain the cable member in a first position and a second position. The length of an intermediate portion of the cable located between the guide portion and the grip portion when the cable member is in the second position is longer than that when the cable member is in the first position. When the cable member is in the second position, the grip portion is attached onto the attaching portion in a condition where the intermediate portion is bent.
