Locking structure for rectilinear center rail for opposite sliding doors

A locking structure can be used for a rectilinear center rail for opposite sliding doors. A rectilinear center rail mounted in a longitudinal direction on a sliding door, a center roller unit rollably connected to the center rail, and a swing bracket rotatably connected to the center roller unit and a vehicle body. The center roller unit includes a first rotating member and a second rotating member, a first catcher formed on the center rail to hinder a movement of the center roller unit, a second catcher formed on the swing bracket to assist a movement of the center roller unit, and a first lever configured to be locked by or unlocked from the first catcher and a second lever configured to be locked by or unlocked from the second catcher are connected to the second rotating member.

Vehicle control device and method of operating an opening and closing body

A vehicle control device includes image capturing units, control equipment that extracts at least one living body from image information captured by the image capturing units and performs processing, and a door operating system capable of unlocking the doors of a vehicle and executing an opening operation for the doors. When a user of the vehicle is included among a plurality of the extracted living bodies and it is estimated that a predetermined type of living body is in contact with the user, the control equipment causes the doors to be operated in a first mode. When the user is included among the plurality of the extracted living bodies and it is estimated that the predetermined type of living body is not in contact with the user, the control equipment causes the doors to be operated in a second mode that differs from the first mode.

Hold-open latch structure for opposite sliding doors for vehicle

A hold-open latch structure for opposite sliding doors for a vehicle includes a roller mechanism swing arm which rotates about a rotating shaft formed in a roller mechanism at the time of opening or closing the door, and moves the door toward the inside and outside of the vehicle and in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle. A locking unit enables the door to be opened or closed and maintains an opened state of the door. The locking unit further includes a catch pivotably mounted on the rotating shaft and coupled to the roller mechanism swing arm so as to rotate together with the roller mechanism swing arm at the time of opening or closing the door. A lever is mounted so that one side of the lever is in contact with the catch.

VISIBILITY ENHANCEMENTS FOR DELIVERY VEHICLE

A vehicle assembly includes a vehicle body and a driver seat. The vehicle body defines a driver compartment having a first door with a first window and a second door with a second window. The driver seat is disposed within the driver compartment. When the driver seat is in a position that accommodates an operator being in a 95.sup.th male height percentile, the operator within the driver seat can see out of (i) the first window at a first angle relative to a forward looking direction that is parallel with a longitudinal axis of the vehicle body and (ii) the second window at a second angle relative to the forward looking direction. Each of the first angle and the second angle is at least 95 degrees.

Door configurations having integrated mechanisms for opening and releasing for closure, with elements of these mechanisms located on or largely on the body of the door itself. In some embodiments of the disclosure, a door has a handle and two release mechanisms coupled thereto, one of which releases a lock and allows the door to open, and the other of which releases a catch and allows the door to close. The two release mechanisms are coupled to the handle such that manipulating the handle in one direction actuates one of the release mechanisms but not the other, and manipulating the handle in the other direction actuates the other release mechanism. In this manner, manipulating the handle in one direction opens the door, and manipulating the handle in the other direction closes the door.

Sliding door for motor vehicles

A motor vehicle sliding door can be moved by a sliding movement between open and closed positions, wherein, in order to lock the sliding door in the open position, a mechanical door stop in the form of a locking latch which has a receiving region for a catch element of the sliding door is provided, and wherein the locking latch can be released by a motorized actuation device, whereby the catch element is released. In the event of failure of the motorized actuation device of the locking latch, for an intuitive unlocking and locking of the sliding door in the open position thereof may be achieved in that the locking latch has a resiliently loaded overload lever, in that the overload lever forms a lateral portion of the receiving region of the locking latch and in that, when the locking latch is locked, the overload lever can be pivoted outward when a specific pushing force of the sliding door is exceeded.
