Deformable tapping plate
A deformable tapping plate can include a central member including at least two mounting openings and a mounting surface wherein the mounting surface defines a mounting plane. The deformable tapping plate can also include a first attachment pad located adjacent a first end of the central member that is connected to the central member by a first connecting arm. The first attachment pad includes a first attachment surface defining an attachment plane. The first connecting arm can include a first arched portion that projects away from both the mounting plane and the attachment plane and can include a first narrowed apex having a thickness that is less than a thickness of adjacent portions of the first arched portion.
Guide bumper for tailgate
Provided is a guide bumper for a tailgate, including a first guide member attached to one of a vehicle body and a tailgate, and a second guide member disposed on the opposite side of the first guide member, the first guide member including at least one outer body and at least one elastic core inserted into the outer body.
HOOD RETRACTION STRUCTURE
Provided is technology whereby it is possible to avoid interference between a secondary lever and a hood retraction structure upon the retraction of a pop-up hood. A hood retraction structure includes: a slider provided at a front side lower portion of a hood; and a rai that is provided on an upper portion of a striker body constituting a hood locking mechanism, and is movable in a longitudinal direction relative to the slider. The slider has a notch having an opening end provided by being cut in a concave shape from a vehicle front side toward a vehicle rear side, and the notch constitutes the hood locking mechanism, and is provided at a position corresponding to an upper portion of a secondary lever that regulates upward movement of the striker body.
Hold-open latch structure for opposite sliding doors for vehicle
A hold-open latch structure for opposite sliding doors for a vehicle includes a roller mechanism swing arm which rotates about a rotating shaft formed in a roller mechanism at the time of opening or closing the door, and moves the door toward the inside and outside of the vehicle and in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle. A locking unit enables the door to be opened or closed and maintains an opened state of the door. The locking unit further includes a catch pivotably mounted on the rotating shaft and coupled to the roller mechanism swing arm so as to rotate together with the roller mechanism swing arm at the time of opening or closing the door. A lever is mounted so that one side of the lever is in contact with the catch.
OPPOSED OPENING AND CLOSING TYPE DOOR STRUCTURE OF VEHICLE
An opposed opening and closing type door structure of a vehicle is provided. The opposed opening and closing type door structure includes a front door and a rear door that are rotatably disposed in the vehicle to be oppositely opened and closed. A center pillar is rotatably disposed in the rear door and an active striker is disposed in the front door. A latch locked with or released from the active striker and is disposed in the center pillar. Accordingly, the weight of the vehicle and the number of parts of the vehicle is reduced and the front door and the rear door are independently opened and closed.
FASTENING ARRANGEMENT IN A VEHICLE
The invention relates to a fastening fixture for a motor vehicle, comprising a sheet metal part (7) on the car body and a U-shaped bracket (1) attached thereto that has a crossbar (2) with adjoining U-shaped legs (3) from the ends of which foot sections (5) extend at an angle and engage underneath the sheet metal part (7) on the car body and are especially welded to it. According to the invention, the sheet metal part (7) has cutouts (8) that are separate from each other and spaced at the same distance as the two U-shaped legs (3) of the bracket (1), and the foot sections (5) of the U-shaped legs (3) pass through said cutouts (8).
BULK MATERIAL SHIPPING CONTAINER HAVING A MATERIAL LOADING ASSEMBLY WITH AN OPERATING MECHANISM
A material loading assembly is connected to a top of a container body having an opening for loading the container. A door is coupled to the top to cover the opening. An operating mechanism includes an extension member connected to the door and has a free end extending past an edge of the door. The extension member has an engagement pin formed on the free end. A latch mechanism attached at an edge of the shipping container has a pin seat formed therein and a locking member positionable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The locking member retains the engagement pin in the pin seat for locking the door in a closed position. The locking member releases the engagement from the pin seat for unlocking the door in the closed position, so the door is free move from the closed position to an open position.
Door for utility vehicle and utility vehicle employing same door
A door for utility vehicle including a door body part provided with a grip part used for opening and closing the door. The door body part is supported by a vehicle body frame in a manner of being capable of being set at a plurality of closed states each having a different gap between the door body part and the vehicle body frame.
Securing device with a front hood and a bayonet-type closure system
The invention relates to a securing device (1), which has a front hood (2) and a hood lock (3) with a lock holder (10), for a motor vehicle. The hood lock (3) has a rotary latch (4) with a pre-latching position and a main latching position in which the front hood (2) is closed and locked, an electric drive (5) which switches the rotary latch (4) from the main latching position into the pre-latching position, and a bayonet-type closure system (13) with a closed position, a release position, and an intermediate position. In the closed position, the rotary latch (4) is located in the main latching position; in the intermediate position, the rotary latch (4) is located in the pre-latching position and the lock holder (10) is engaged with the rotary latch (4); and in the release position, the lock holder (10) is released by the rotary latch (4) and the front hood (2) is unlocked.
Closure system that resists separation when laterally loaded
An exemplary closure system includes, among other things, a striker assembly, a latch assembly, and a hooked structure. In response to the striker assembly and the latch assembly being laterally displaced from each other, the hooked structure engages one of the striker assembly or the latch assembly to block separation of the striker assembly from the latch assembly. An exemplary latching method includes, among other things, engaging a hooked structure in response to a striker assembly being laterally displaced relative to a latch assembly. The engaging blocks the striker assembly from separating relative to the latch assembly.
