Gravity Gate Latch
A gravity gate latch that is positioned near the free end of a gate to automatically engage a strike member. The gate latch has a pair of side plates that are spaced apart to define to enclose a hook plate and a sliding mechanism. The hook plate has a hook member that engages the strike member of the gate and a slot that engages the sliding mechanism to allow the hook plate to move upward and downward between the two side plates. The side plates define an enlarged latch mouth that receives the strike member. The hook member has an elongated edge to be hit by the strike member to lift the hook plate to allow the strike member to pass through the latch mouth and an enlarged area that is hit by the strike member to close the hook member to trap the strike member in the gate latch.
Latch
This invention relates to a latch (preferably a slam latch) and to methods of operating a door/gate/panel using the latch. The latch comprises: (i) a mounting body; (ii) a latch bolt mounted relative to the mounting body for movement between a locking position and an unlocking position, said latch bolt having a keeper-engaging region extending from the mounting body and terminating at a keeper-engaging end; and (iii) a keeper having at least a first wall and a second wall which are spaced to define an opening for receiving the keeper-engaging region, wherein the first and second walls are adapted to engage the keeper-engaging region of the latch bolt when the latch bolt is in the locking position.
Deadbolt with status indicator light
A deadbolt lock with an interior assembly having a status light indicator. The deadbolt assembly has a bolt movable between an extended position and a retracted position. An interior locking assembly includes a turnpiece configured to move the bolt between its extended position and retracted position, a light, and a detection circuit. The detection circuit is configured to detect when the bolt is in the extended position and actuate the light responsive to detecting that the bolt being in the extended position.

COOLER SAFETY RELEASE DEVICE
In several embodiments, a person trapped inside a cooler may utilize the cooler safety release device to escape. The person may place his fingers on a pull tab on the inner plate of the safety release device and slide the inner plate away from the outer plate to move the locking tab away from being immediately above the plate of the locking mechanism to being adjacent, but no longer overlapping, with the plate of the locking mechanism. In one or more embodiments, when the locking tab is positioned in a non-overlapping position with the plate of the locking mechanism, the lid is unlocked from the cooler body and is able to be opened, even by someone inside the cooler.

EQUIPMENT MOUNTING ASSEMBLY
A mounting assembly includes a base; a post extending from the base, the post defining a vertical axis; a beam mounted on the post and being pivotable about the vertical axis, the beam comprising a first portion extending in a first horizontal direction and terminating in a first end, and a second portion extending in a second horizontal direction opposite of the first direction and terminating in a second end; an equipment mounting bracket at the first end; a latch along the beam and having an engaged position and release position, wherein in the engaged position the latch prevents the beam from pivoting; and a latch release along the second portion of the beam. A method of accessing equipment mounted on the mounting assembly includes actuating the latch release such that the latch moves from the engaged position to the release position; and rotating the beam about the vertical axis.
INSTALLATION STRUCTURE OF AUXILIARY LOCKING DEVICE FOR HINGED DOOR
The present invention relates to an installation structure of an auxiliary locking device for a hinged door, and by operating a rotation lever installed on a door frame separately from a generally used security main locking device, the rotating opening side of the hinged door is vertically attached to the door frame in close contact with the door frame at a number of points in the longitudinal direction, and in order to make it easier to fix and maintain such a tight state. More particularly, the present invention is directed to providing new installation structure of the auxiliary locking device of the hinged door capable of preventing the mutual interference of the driving plate and locking piston, even if the longitudinal installation range of the driving plate is overlapped with the operating range of the locking piston constituting the second locking tool.

BOLT MODULE
A bolt module is disclosed. The bolt module comprises: a bolt moveable between a thrown position and a retracted position; an anti-thrust member moveable between a release position in which the bolt can be retracted and a plurality of blocking positions obstructing driving back of the bolt under action of an external force on the bolt and, a first rotor assembly capable of accepting a drive element, the first rotor assembly arranged to drive the bolt and to move the anti-thrust member between the plurality of blocking positions and the release position. Each of the plurality of blocking positions may respectively limit to different extents the driving back of the bolt under action of an external force on the bolt. There is also disclosed a leaf or door comprising the bolt module, wherein the bolt module is mounted on the leaf or door for securing the leaf or door.
