Automatic window sash interlock
A window sash interlock includes a housing configured to mount to a side rail of a window sash. The housing includes a front face that substantially aligns with a surface of the side rail. A locking member is pivotably coupled to the housing about a pivot axis. The locking member is disposed at least partially within the housing and is movable between at least a locked position and an unlocked position. The locking member is biased so as to automatically return to the unlocked position, and in the unlocked position, the locking member at least partially extends from the front face of the housing.
Latch for a cabinet
A latch for a cabinet is described. The latch may be used to secure a door of the cabinet in a closed position. The latch includes a pawl member that pivots or rotates relative to a pivot plate. The pawl member includes a pawl tip generally opposite of a pawl fulcrum end. The latch includes a striker. The pawl member engages and disengages with the striker. The latch includes a handle that is configured to move. The handle includes an upper end. The upper end is configured to contact the pawl lever end to cause the pawl member to pivot or rotate relative to the pivot plate to disengage the pawl member from the striker.
LATCHBOLT DAMPING MODULE
An exemplary damper module is configured for use with a latchbolt assembly, and generally includes a mounting bracket, a first slowing mechanism, and a second slowing mechanism. The latchbolt assembly generally includes a drive member, a latchbolt, and a retractor connected between the drive member and the latchbolt. Each of the slowing mechanisms is independently operable to slow the extension speed of the latchbolt. The first slowing mechanism includes a rack gear and a rotary damper including a pinion gear. The rack gear is configured to be mounted to the drive member, and the rotary damper is mounted to the mounting bracket. The second slowing mechanism includes a slowing arm and a biasing member engaged with the slowing arm. The slowing arm is movably mounted to the mounting bracket and is configured to engage the retractor.
Automatic analysis device
An automated analysis device is provided with a casing accommodating an analysis device. A cover is axially supported with freedom to pivot, between a closed position and an upwardly-open open position, about a support shaft provided at one side of the casing. A closing device is capable of inhibiting opening of the cover in the closed position, and is provided with a projecting portion that protrudes from a front surface of the cover toward the rear, a lock lever which is axially supported with freedom to pivot about a pivoting support shaft, and which pivots from the work surface in a direction approaching the projecting portion to engage with the projection portion, thereby inhibiting opening of the cover. A safety cover can thus be locked securely.
SMART HATCH AUTONOMOUS ACTUATION SYSTEMS FOR HATCHES WINDOWS AND DOORS
Systems and methods described in this application are directed to hatch lid actuation systems. Actuation systems of the inventive subject matter are configured to effect the opening and closing of lids that are hingedly coupled with an opening. An embodiment featuring a rotational actuator, e.g., a motor, as well as an embodiment featuring a linear actuator are described. Embodiments having rotational actuators can additionally feature a gearbox. Embodiments of the inventive subject matter can also include sensor packages that can determine various hatch lid conditions (e.g., whether a lid is open, closed, wet, etc.).
ANIMAL CRATE ASSEMBLY
A crate assembly includes a plurality of members defining an interior of the crate assembly, where the plurality of members includes a front, a back, a top, a bottom, a first side and a second side. A frame is formed in one of the plurality of members, the frame having a plurality of interconnected horizontal and vertical wires that define a door opening. A door is pivotally coupled to the frame about a pivot wire of the frame to move between an open position and a closed position. A latch assembly is pivotally coupled to a horizontal wire of the frame. The latch assembly includes a wire having a first end, a second end and a transverse portion, the wire forming a first portion defined between the first end and the transverse portion and a second portion defined between the second end and the transverse portion.
LOCKING MECHANISM AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS EQUIPPED WITH LOCKING MECHANISM
A cover member includes: a fittable recess that opens to one side of the cover member in a direction orthogonal to an axis of a shaft member, receives a torsion coil spring from the one side, and fits on an outer periphery of the torsion coil spring; and an anchoring counter element to which one end of the torsion coil spring is anchored. The torsion coil spring is engaged with a hook member while being fitted in the fittable recess, thus biasing the hook member toward movement about the axis of the shaft member to a locking position and supporting both ends of the shaft member rotatably around an internal surface of the coil to function as a bearing member.
AUTOMATIC HATCH FOR BULK MATERIAL VEHICLES
An automatic hatch assembly for bulk material containers, and especially for bulk material containers on vehicles, provides for the remote control and automated operation of opening/closing, locking/unlocking, and/or sealing/unsealing hatch functions. The hatch covers a fill opening of the container, and may be retrofitted to existing containers equipped with conventional hatch covers. A drive unit is operable to open and close the hatch cover, and a locking assembly actuates extendable lock members. Optionally, a pneumatic seal is provided within the cover for sealing the container from the outside environment. The locking assembly may be particularly well-suited to resisting opening forces applied to the cover, such as when the container is pressurized, and a sequencing controller may be provided to facilitate automated operation.
AUTO-RACK RAILROAD CAR DOOR LOCKING ASSEMBLY SPLICE
In various embodiments, the present disclosure provides an door locking assembly splice including an extension tube having opposing top and bottom ends, a lock rod connection assembly connected to the top end of the extension tube, a handle connection assembly connected to the extension tube between the top end and the bottom end of the extension tube, and a cam assembly connected to the bottom end of the extension tube, that enables a damaged door rod locking assembly to be easily, quickly, and efficiently repaired.
FENESTRATION AUTOMATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A fenestration assembly including a panel, a lock assembly coupled to the panel, and an actuation system coupled to the lock assembly. The lock assembly includes a motor, a transmission driven by the motor, a sensing assembly, and a slide assembly that includes a rack member operatively coupled to the motor by the transmission and a drive bracket that is slidable by the rack member between a locked drive bracket position and an unlocked drive bracket position.
