Locking system for a container
A cabinet includes a locking system having a cabinet body including a bottom wall, a top wall, a first side wall, a second, opposing side wall, and a third side wall connected to the bottom wall, the top wall, and between the first side wall and the second side wall. At least one door is pivotally mounted to the cabinet body. The at least one door, bottom wall, top wall, first side wall, second side wall, and third side wall define a storage volume. A lock mechanism including a latch and release element is pivotally mounted inside the storage volume. The latch and release element is accessible only in the storage volume. A lock opening extends through the cabinet body at the lock mechanism. A lock element is insertable through the lock opening. The lock element includes a latch receiver that is selectively engageable by the latch and release element.
Latch mechanism for a guard assembly of a processing machine
A latch mechanism includes a latch having a first latch protrusion and a second latch protrusion, and a catch having a first catch protrusion and a second catch protrusion. The first catch protrusion engages the first latch protrusion in a first catch position. The second catch protrusion engages the second latch protrusion in a second catch position following release of the first catch position.
LATCH MODULE, A HINGE MODULE AND AN APPLIANCE USING THE SAME
A latch module includes a latch including a hook for engaging with a pin, a spring that applies a force to move the latch in a first direction; and a motor to pivot the latch. The hook is opened at a front end toward the first direction that opens to an engaging surface provided in the hook for engaging with the pin and the engaging surface includes a disengaging inclined surface that is disposed at a front end portion of the hook and a secure lock surface that is disposed behind the disengaging inclined surface. The disengaging inclined surface has an inclined surface inclined in the first direction and the secure lock surface has an inclined surface inclined in a second direction opposite the first direction. In a first basic position of the latch, the disengaging inclined surface of the hook is positioned to engage with the pin. In a second basic position of the latch, the engaging surface of the hook is positioned to release the pin. In a third basic position of the latch, the secure lock surface of the hook is positioned to engage with the pin.
Inertia lock for vehicle latch
A vehicle latch is provided. The vehicle latch having: an inertia lever rotationally mounted to the latch for movement about an axis between a first position and a second position; and a lock link operatively coupled to the inertia lever such that movement of the inertia lever from the first position to the second position causes the lock link to move from a first position to a second position, wherein the latch is in a locked state when the lock link is in the second position.
Door for closing opening in structure and aircraft
The present invention relates to a door for closing an opening in a structure, including: a body arranged to be capable of abutting against a first side of the opening; at least one clamping member configured to be capable of abutting against an opposite second side of the opening; and a fastener arranged to fasten or release the clamping member relative to the body. The clamping member is moveable relative to the body between a first position where the clamping member abuts against the second side of the opening so as to clamp the structure between the body and the clamping member and a second position where the clamping member allows the door to be opened. The present invention further relates to an aircraft including the above door.
Door latch, lock and open mechanism for medical device treatment system
A latch and lock assembly includes a lever pivotable between a latched and unlatched position. A first actuator selectively moves a locking tab between a locked and unlocked position. In the locked position, the locking tab blocks pivotable movement of the lever from the latched position to the unlatched position. In the unlocked position, the locking tab allows pivotable movement of the lever from the latched position to the unlatched position. A second actuator selectively rotates a door opening tab between a first and second position when the locking tab is in the unlocked position is included. When the door opening tab is in the first position the lever is in a latched position, and when the door opening tab is rotated from the first position to the second position, the door opening tab abuts the lever and urges the lever from the latched position to the unlatched position.
Locally and remotely actuable vehicle door lock
A vehicle door lock having a rotary latch arrangement and a release mechanism. The rotary latch arrangement includes a lock case in which a pivoted rotary latch and a pivoted locking pawl are arranged. The release mechanism includes a first release device with a traverse tube, a cable pull mechanism with a traction element led through the traverse tube and means for actuating the cable pull mechanism, and a pivotable actuation lever that engages in the lock case and which comprises two opposite actuation lever lateral surfaces. The actuation lever is rotatably connected with the first release device to be driven about an actuation lever rotary axis, wherein the locking pawl can be actuated by rotating the actuation lever so that the locking mechanism of the rotary latch can be released.
Door latch with opening memory feature
A closure latch for a vehicle door is provided. The closure latch includes an emergency lock actuator to permit a person to lock the door in the event that the power lock actuator is unusable. The latch also includes an impatient passenger feature, which permits the doors to be unlocked using the remote keyless-entry feature on the key fob even in a situation where an impatient passenger had prematurely lifted the door handle of the vehicle. In some prior art latches, such an action by an impatient passenger would prevent the drive motor on the latch from unlocking the latch, thereby necessitating the owner to press the unlock button on the key fob a second time. There is some overlap in the components that used for the impatient passenger feature and the components used for the emergency lock actuator, thereby reducing cost and complexity of the latch.
Universal global latch system
A powered latch system for a door of a vehicle including a latch assembly, actuatable inside and outside handles, a powered actuator and a door controller that causes the powered actuator to unlatch the latch assembly upon actuation of the inside and outside door handles. The latch assembly may be mechanically unlatched by a user within a vehicle interior even if the powered actuator does not actuate due to a loss of electrical power or other failure. The controller can be programmed to unlatch the latch assembly according to various criteria as required to meet the specific requirements of different markets.
Vehicle door latch device
A vehicle door latch device includes: a body includes a striker advancing groove into which a striker advances along with closing movement of the door; a latch configured to interlock with the advanced striker so as to be rotatable from an open position to a latched position; a pawl configured to be biased to rotate, in a direction towards an engaged position where the pawl is engageable with the latch in the latched position from a released position where engagement with the latch is canceled, and restrain the door in a closed position by rotating from the engaged position to the released position in conjunction with rotation of the latch, rotating from the released position to the engaged position by biasing force, and engaging with the latch; and a buffer that is made of an elastic member.
