Refrigerator
Provided is a refrigerator having only a second door opened/closed or having both of a first door and a second door opened/closed using one handing by allowing a latch device to fix the second door to the first door or release the second door from being fixed to the first door. The refrigerator includes a main body having a storage compartment, a first door that is rotatably disposed in front of the main body and has an opening formed therein, a second door that is rotatably disposed in front of the first door to open/close the opening, a handle coupled to a front side of the second door to open/close the first door and the second door, and a latch device allowing the second door to be fixed and released to/from the first door.
LOCK FOR HOLDING A FIRST PART TO A SECOND PART AND ASSEMBLY OF A FIRST PART AND A SECOND PART
A lock for holding a first part to a second part comprises a holding body with a receptacle for receiving a protruding part of the second part. The holding body has a wall that borders the receptacle and a locking element, the locking element having a protrusion, whereby the locking element has a first position, whereby in the first position the protrusion is in a locking position, whereby in the locking position the protrusion protrudes from the wall into the receptacle by a first amount and the locking element has a second position, whereby in the second position the protrusion is in a release position, whereby in the release position the protrusion either protrudes from the wall into the receptacle by a second amount, whereby the second amount is smaller than the first amount, or the protrusion does not protrude from the wall.

LOCK LEVER AND OPENING/CLOSING DEVICE
There is provided a lock lever including: a base portion having an operation portion; a rotation shaft portion that is pivotally supported by the lid body and that allows the base portion to rotate; a lock portion that is configured to rotate together with the base portion and that is configured to be locked to or unlocked from the fixed body in accordance with rotation; and an elastic piece that extends from the base portion and that has a tip end side configured to elastically contact the lid body to bias the lock portion in a direction to lock the lock portion. The elastic piece extends from the base portion so as to approach the rotation shaft portion, and extends so as to be separated from the rotation shaft portion toward a tip end on the way when viewed in a rotation axis direction.

STORAGE DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A vehicle storage device has a locking device that can keep a lid in a closed condition. The locking device includes an operation member for performing an unlocking operation of the lid, an engagement member that is provided such that the engagement member can be engaged with the storage portion and its engaged state is released when the operation member is operated, a first spring that biases the operation member toward a standby position in a locked state, and a second spring that biases the engagement member toward an engagement position in which the engagement member is engaged with the storage portion. The first spring is provided through a through hole formed in the engagement member.
Disconnect Defeater Arm Mechanism
An interlock system for an enclosure can include a power switch movable between an OFF position and an ON position with a defeater arm coupled to the power switch. The defeater arm can be selectively movable between a locked position and an unlocked position and when the defeater arm is in the locked position the power switch is prevented from moving from the OFF position to the ON position. An interlock can include a pivot bracket pivotally supported by a support bracket within the interior of the enclosure and movable between a first orientation, in which the pivot bracket is out of engagement with the defeater arm, and a second orientation, in which the pivot bracket displaces the defeater arm into the unlocked position. When the door is moved into a closed position from an open position, a door bracket displaces the pivot bracket into the second orientation.

Retractable Security Latch with Striker
Apparatus and associated methods relate to a selectively operated safety latch having an active mode and a stowed mode. In an illustrative example, a retractable safety latch may include a tongue element extending in a first plane and a base element extending in a second plane. The tongue element, for example, may include multiple mode selection slots. The base element may include a brace slot. For example, one of the multiple mode selection slots and the brace slot may receive a security pin long a longitudinal axis so that a predetermined mode is selected. In the active mode, the tongue element extends away from the base element to releasably engage a striker element. In the inactive mode, the first plane and the second plane are substantially parallel such that the tongue element is prevented from engaging the striker element. Various embodiments may advantageously provide quick switching security latch operations.
