INTERLOCK SECURITY DEVICE
A mountable interlock security device for securing first and second sliding articles slidable relative to each other from an open position to a closed position such that in the closed position the sliding articles have overlapping interior edges. The security device comprises a first component mountable to the first sliding article and a second component mountable to the interior edge of the second sliding article. The two components of the security device are mounted to the overlapping end regions of respective sliding articles such that when the sliding articles are in the closed position, the two components of the security device cooperate to limit lateral movement of the sliding articles. In another aspect, a method of retrofitting interior and exterior sliding articles, such as doors or windows, of a building with a security device is provided.
PASSIVE DOOR BOLT ASSEMBLY
A bolt assembly for securing a passive door panel relative to an entryway frame. The bolt assembly has a base to be fixedly mounted relative to the passive door panel, a catch attached to the base with a leaf spring to deflect relative to the base, and a bolt which is able to translate relative to the base between a retracted position and an extended position for securing the passive door panel. The bolt is biased toward the extended position and selectively maintained in the retracted position by the catch.
PASSIVE DOOR BOLT ASSEMBLY
A bolt assembly for securing a passive door panel relative to an entryway frame. The bolt assembly comprises an anchoring base fixed relative to the passive door panel. The base has at least one column of spaced apart teeth extending from a side there. The column of spaced apart teeth provides notches between the teeth and adjacent to at least one end of the at least one column. The bolt assembly also has a bolt to slide relative to the base between at least a first position and a second position. The bolt includes a slide having a finger for mating into at least one of the notches in the first position and the second position. The bolt also has a pin attached to the slide for movement therewith. The pin is able to engage the entryway frame when the bolt is in the second position.
CONFIGURABLE ASTRAGAL AND SNAP FEATURE FOR FENESTRATION SYSTEMS
An astragal for a fenestration system includes at least first and second slots running along opposite sides of the astragal, each slot is configured to receive a stile of a panel of the fenestration system. The slots may be in different planes or in a common plane, and may be different depths or the same depth. In some embodiments, additional slots are provided in the astragal, on one or both sides of the astragal, and the astragal may be used in various placements and configurations within multi-panel door or window systems. A snap clip may be included within one or more of the slots to engage a stile when received in the slot and secure the panel to the astragal. Covers may fill slots that are not utilized in a particular panel configuration.
ASTRAGAL WITH COVERED SLIDABLE LOCK BLOCK
An astragal assembly for use with double doors containing a slidable lock block with a moveable cover. The movable slidable lock block cover may be moved between an open position, wherein the slidable lock block can be moved between locked and unlocked positions, and a closed position, wherein the slidable lock block is immobilized. Accordingly, the slidable lock block cover increases the security of the double doors by preventing actuation of the slidable lock block when the double doors are closed.
Combination Door Assembly
A combination door assembly includes a frame that may be coupled to a wall of a building. A door is hingedly coupled to the frame such that the door is positionable between an open position and a closed position. The door comprises a first half that is slidably coupled to a second half. The second half is positionable in an open position when the door is positioned in the closed position. Thus, the second half is configured to allow egress and entry to the building when the door is in the closed position.
Testing apparatus
Embodiments of this application provide a testing apparatus, configured to test a battery and including a test body and a first door body. The test body may include an accommodating cavity for accommodating the battery, and an opening. The opening may communicate with the accommodating cavity, and the first door body may be connected to the opening and capable of moving relative to the opening. The first door body may have a first state and a second state; in the first state, the first door body may block a part of the opening; and in the second state, the first door body may seal the opening.
Modular surface mounted electric strike
A modular surface mounted electric strike system is provided. The system comprises a universal base plate configured to be mounted to a door frame and including first and second mounting points. The system further includes an electric strike module configured to receive the door latch and includes a keeper assembly and an actuator assembly. The actuator assembly is configured for moving between a first mode for preventing the keeper assembly from moving toward an unlatched position and a second mode for permitting the keeper assembly to move toward the unlatched position. When the door latch is in a first position relative to the door frame, the electric strike module is attached to the first mounting point. When the door latch is in a second position relative to the door frame, the electric strike module is attached to the second mounting point of the universal base plate.
