The lock device comprises a lock part, a lock member which is operated via a manipulation member, a base member, and a key cylinder, wherein: the manipulation member comprises a cylinder housing part; the base member comprises a cylinder arrangement space in which the cylinder housing part is arranged, a wall part located at the tip side of the manipulation member, and an opening formed in the wall part; the key cylinder comprises a key plate; the key plate comprises a pressing surface; and the pressing surface is exposed inside the cylinder arrangement space and disposed further to the base end part side of the manipulation member than the edge part of the opening in the wall part.
HANDLE WITH FLOOR AND/OR CEILING LOCK
Described is a handle (10) with floor and/or ceiling lock which comprises: a first part (11) and a second part (12) one having an internal cavity (14); a connecting element (15) having two opposite ends (151, 152) to each of which can be fixed one of the parts (11, 12); a closing/opening device (17) comprising a knob element (18), a latch element (19) and a transmission mechanism (20) which connects them.
The second part (12) has a housing seat (22) for a Mortise cylinder unit (100) which has a lever (101) which is rotatable with respect to tan actuation axis (A).
The transmission mechanism (20) comprises a crank element (23) configured in such a way as to transform a rotation of the knob element (23) into a translation of the latch element (19) with respect to the cavity (14).
The crank element (23) faces in the housing seat (22) in such a way that a protrusion (231) of the crank element (23) interferes with a trajectory of rotation of the lever (101) of the Mortise cylinder unit (100) for operating the latch element (19).
Tool chest locking mechanism
A locking system is described that is intuitive to use and provides a high degree of security. The locking system is a multipoint locking system and includes a plurality of components that provide engagement between components. Also described are cabinets and enclosures using the locking system.
Truck roll-up door internal lock release
An internal release mechanism for a truck roll-up door closure to a vehicle compartment includes a lift arm disposed on the roll-up door inside the vehicle compartment having a stowed position and a deployed position, a first release mechanism coupled to the lift arm operable to bypass a door lock disposed outside the vehicle compartment in response to the lift arm being moved by an occupant inside the vehicle compartment from the stowed position to the deployed position, and a second release mechanism coupled to the lift arm operable to clear a mechanical door latch disposed outside of the vehicle compartment also in response to the lift arm being moved from the stowed position to the deployed position.
Multi-point locking system
Fenestration systems and associated methods include use of a lock assembly having a housing, a cam gear, a reversal gear, and one or more catches. Various aspects relate to enhanced locking/security, including repeatability and overall efficacy.
Lock assembly
A lock assembly comprising: one or more racks, each rack being configured to move along a linear axis between a respective extended position and a respective retracted position; and a drive hub coupled to the one or more racks; wherein the drive hub is configured such that, in an extended position of the one or more racks, the drive hub resists a linear force applied to a rack of the one or more racks from moving the rack towards the retracted position. A lock assembly comprising: one or more racks, each rack being configured to move along a linear axis between a respective extended position and a respective retracted position; and a drive hub having one or more engagement means, each engagement means configured to engage with the one or more racks; wherein in an extended position of the rack, at least one of the one or more engagement means is at an angle of less than 45? from the linear axis.
TOUCH RELEASE HANDLE
A latching assembly for use on a pick-up truck, and particularly on a truck bed cover configured to sit over a truck bed section is provided. The latching assembly includes an electronic release assembly and a mechanical override system. An electronic release assembly includes a first rod coupled to a first electronic actuator and a second rod coupled to a second electronic actuator. The electronic release assembly also includes a first electronic actuator that selectively moves the first latch catch and the second electronic actuator that selectively moves the second latch catch. A switch is engaged to send a signal to the first and second electronic actuators to cause the first and second latch catches to disengage from the truck bed section. The first and second rods and the first and second electronic actuators also serve as part of a mechanical override system that selectively unlatches at least a portion of the truck bed cover from the truck bed section. The mechanical override system moves the first and second rods to mechanically cause the first and second electronic actuators, respectively, to manually move the first and second latch catches, respectively, to unlatch the at least the portion of the truck bed cover from the truck bed section as an alternative to moving the first and second latch catches by electrically moving the first and second electronic actuators.
LOCK DEVICE FOR OPENING/CLOSING DEVICE
An opening/closing body locking device for an opening/closing body that is openably/closably mounted to an opening portion of a stationary body, the locking device including locking portions provided on both lateral sides of the opening/closing body, a pair of link rods that are mounted to the stationary body, and are interlocked with each other to slidably move so that hook portions at distal ends thereof engage and disengage the locking portions, a biasing unit that biases the link rods in directions that the hook portions of the link rods engage the locking portions, and an operating member that causes the hook portions of the link rods to slide in directions that the hook portions disengage the locking portions against biasing force of the biasing unit, pressing members that are provided on the both lateral sides of the opening portion of the stationary body.
Portable suitcase with electronic combination locking device
A portable suitcase with an electronic combination locking device includes a suitcase body, a suitcase cover, a pair of lock hooks installed to the suitcase cover, a pair of first openings formed on the suitcase body for accommodating the lock hooks, a first locking device installed on an outer top surface of the suitcase cover, and a set of numeric keys and first buttons installed on the first locking device; a second locking device installed onto the suitcase body, a second button device installed onto the second locking device and disposed opposite to the first button, and a pair of latch mechanisms for receiving the actuation of the second button device, and the first locking device receives a correct unlock password to release the lock of the first button, and the second button device receives the actuation of the first button to detach the latch mechanism from the lock hook.
Latch apparatus
A latch (10) is usable to selectively hold a closure member such as a door (188) in a closed position. The latch includes a body (12) which has a manually engageable handle (18) on a front side thereof. A shank (30) is in rotationally movable connection with the handle. The shank extends through the body and into an indexing cam bore (58) on the back side of the body. The shank is both axially and rotationally movable about a cam bore axis (62). An indexing cam (88) is connected to the shank. The shank is in operative connection with a striker (102). The striker is rotationally movable responsive to rotation of the handle between a latched position and unlatched position when the shank is in a second axial position. When the shank is in a first axial position, the shank is held in a fixed rotational position by the indexing cam, and the striker is held in the latched position. A cam bolt (164) is movably engageable with the striker to hold the striker in the latched position. The cam bolt is in operative connection with a lock cylinder (142). The lock cylinder is rotatable in engagement with a correct key to selectively position the cam bolt.
