The engaging portion is provided in any one of a housing and a door that is configured to open and close a housing opening portion of the housing. The hook is provided in the other one of the housing and the door to be rotatable around a rotation axis, is engageable with the engaging portion, and is normally disengaged from the engaging portion by its own weight. The pressing portion is provided separately from the hook and is configured to press the hook. The hook includes a hook side engaging portion that is configured to engage with the engaging portion with the rotation axis interposed therebetween, and a hook side pressing portion that is configured to cause the engaging portion to engage with the hook side engaging portion by being pressed by the pressing portion.
TELESCOPIC LOCK
Provided is a telescopic lock that can be fixed to a variety of closures of different configurations to thereby provide another closure protection measure.
Animal-resistant latching system
An animal-resistant latching system for inhibiting animals from accessing food and food containing refuse within containers. The device is composed of an access panel containing an opening to which is secured at least one latching members, a cam assembly, a cover, and a bracket. The latching members are positioned so as to inhibit access to the container when the member is in the latched position and allow access to the container when the member is in the unlatched position. The cam assembly communicates with the latching members so as to move the members between the latched and unlatched positions. The cover and bracket are dimensioned and positioned on the access panel in a predetermined manner so as allow human hands access to the cam assembly and unlatch the container while simultaneously inhibiting such access by animals.
Camper shell lock assembly
A camper shell lock assembly includes a camper shell that is installed on a bed of a pickup. The camper shell has a door and the door has a locking mechanism that is movably integrated into the door. The locking mechanism is rotatable into a locked condition for inhibiting the door from is opened. The locking mechanism is rotatable into an unlocked condition to facilitate the door to be opened. A box is positionable over the locking mechanism thereby restricting motion of the locking mechanism. The box is comprised of a rigid material thereby facilitating the box to inhibit the locking mechanism from being rotated into the unlocked condition. In this way the door from is inhibited from being opened to inhibit a person outside of the camper shell from opening the door.
