DOOR LOCKING MECHANISM

A locking system for an enclosure, including a control bracket mounted to a door of the enclosure and configured to slide in a longitudinal direction along a guide rod running through a pin bracket of the control bracket. The control bracket further includes a latching pin to secure the door of the enclosure. A handle mechanism has a push rod that causes the control bracket to slide along the longitudinal direction, also causing the latching pin to move into a position that secures the door.

A structure, for example a vehicle roof, may define an opening receiving one or more removable panels. The removable panels may each include a panel body configured to cover the opening, and a plurality of latches. The latches may each be positioned adjacent a respective edge of the body and configured to translate between different positions. The removable panel may also include an actuator and a plurality of latch links, with each latch link having a first end connected to a corresponding one of the latches, and each latch link having a second end operably linked with the actuator. Rotation of the actuator may drive each of the latches from an open position of the latch to a closed position, while rotation of the actuator in an opposite direction may drive each of the latches from the closed position of the latch to the open position of the latch.

Skiles Locking System enables automatic actuation of multiple deadbolt type locks instantly through use of remote wireless activator, key, or lock button. (inside of dwelling) This is accomplished through a mechanized assembly completely contained inside door. Attached to door knob shaft located in the center of the door, a rotating disc and wire assembly retracts internal spring loaded deadbolts from bolt sleeves in door frame allowing ingress or egress. When the door shuts, beveled internal spring-loaded bolts move back into door frame, allowing locking of door with multiple deadbolt type locks with remote wireless activator, key, or lock button (inside). No manual sliding of deadbolts needed. The system also incorporates brass weak-link locking pins, which attach steel connecting wires to rotating disc. These weak-links break upon abnormal pressure when door knob mechanism is compromised by force, permanently locking door in place. The system allows for keyed or electronic keyless entry.

A device including a doorknob, rotating disc implements, two steel connecting wires, two connecting rods, and weak-link connectors configured to disable the steel connecting wires when an excessive force is applied to the doorknob. One of the connecting rods comprises a spring loaded connecting rod configured to engage a threaded hole of a sliding bolt. The other connecting rod comprises a connecting rod configured to engage a separator pinion in the sliding bolt. The spring loaded sliding bolt enables the device to be positioned in a locked or unlocked condition. The device is configured to be installed in the center of a door to secure the door to a door frame. The door and door frame may each be made of wood or steel.

Enclosure comprises a plurality of bar members translatably attached to an interior surface of the door of the enclosure. Each of the plurality of bar members comprises a projection. A plurality of blocks are disposed on a peripheral edge of the opening of the enclosure's body, such that there is a corresponding block for each projection, and wherein each of the plurality of blocks define a channel for receiving and engaging its corresponding projection. When actuated in a first member, an actuator causes each of the plurality of bar members to translate between a first position and a second position. When the door is in a closed position, translation of the bar members to the first position causes each projection to engage with the channel of its corresponding block to thereby hold the door in the closed position. Translation of the plurality of bar members to the second position causes each projection to be translated out of engagement with its corresponding block such that the door can be opened.

The current disclosure relates to a tank trailer for transporting meat packaging by-products. The tank trailer has a cylindrical body having a sloped rear end. An opening is formed in the sloped rear end, and a gate selectively blocks the opening. A locking mechanism is provided to securely lock the gate to the cylindrical body, thereby sealing the cylindrical body. The sloped rear end forms a chute through which meat by-products can be poured. The chute extends for a distance rearwardly of the trailer's rear wheel assembly.
