LIFT TRUCK OPERATOR COMPARTMENT DOOR

Lift trucks can have an operator compartment designed with an ergonomically improved cab door having a door frame, a set of glass sheets, upper and lower hinges, a handle, a door catch assembly, a door support member, and one or more operator handlebars. The door support member and operator handlebars can be sized and/or positioned to provide structural strength to the door. The cab door can have an unobstructed door design to facilitate maximum operator visibility. The catch assembly can maintain the door in an open position and the operator can readily close the door when desired. In one embodiment, the door includes a vertical operator handlebar and a horizontal operator handlebar that facilitate easy entry into and exit from the operator compartment without unduly obscuring operator visibility through the door.

Disclosed is a washing machine including a main body, a drum provided inside the main body and having an accommodating space to accommodate laundry, a door rotatably provided in a first direction of opening the accommodating space or a second direction of closing the accommodating space, and a hinge bracket coupled to the main body to connect the door and the main body, wherein the door includes a pusher configured to maintain the accommodating space in an open state by assisting the rotation of the door in the first direction, the pusher pressing the hinge bracket.

MOTOR VEHICLE DOOR WITH ARRESTER DEVICE

A motor vehicle door includes an arrester device having a magneto-rheological fluid for holding the motor vehicle door in position, and a coil for solidifying the magneto-rheological fluid that is disposed adjacent to a liquid-tight interior space, with the interior space containing one or more components which can be moved relative to other components in the interior space. A relative movement between these components is slowed down by solidifying the magneto-rheological fluid and the slowing down of the relative movement causes the motor vehicle door to be held in position. The coil is part of a switchable hard magnet which is selected such that a sedimentation-stable, magneto-rheological fluid is obtained. The motor vehicle door may thus be reliably held in a freely selectable position.

Safety latch for a mud skip

A safety latch for a mud skip container includes a first latch that is pivotal within a bracket that is mounted to a top of the container. The first latch may include a pivoting head with a downwardly projecting catch and an arm connected to the head. The arm extends through an aperture in the bracket and a spring is disposed about the arm between the head and an end wall of the bracket. The safety latch further includes a second latch mounted to a pivoting lid of the container; and, the second latch includes an upwardly projecting catch on a head of the latch. The head of the second latch is positioned over a pivot axis of the lid and positioned relative to the first latch such that the catches of respective first and second latches engage one another when the lid is opened.

DOOR ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME, AND AIRCRAFT INCLUDING A DOOR ASSEMBLY
20210002933 · 2021-01-07 ·

Door assemblies, aircraft including door assemblies, and method for making door assemblies are provided. In one example, a door assembly includes a hinge subassembly and a door pivotally coupled to the hinge subassembly. The door has a channel disposed therein with a holding member disposed proximate a channel distal portion. A sliding member is movably disposed in the channel. An arm has a first portion pivotally coupled to a second hinge subassembly and a second portion pivotally coupled to the sliding member to move the sliding member as the door moves between a closed position and an open position. A stay member is coupled to the sliding member to move towards the holding member which holds the stay member in position when the door is moved to the open position to hold the door open.

Doorstop

The invention described herein is a wedge doorstop having a pair of adjacent sidewalls that respectively abut an edge of a door and a doorframe in a preferred orientation. Additionally, another sidewall of the stop abuts the frame stop of the doorframe and a compressible material along each one of the sidewalls protects the frame and increases friction. In operation, the door is opened and the doorstop is inserted into the gap between the frame and the door, and when the door begins to swing towards the frame, the wedge is sandwiched between the edge of the door and the frame. Additionally the compressive material prevents the doorstop from damaging the door or frame. Alternatively, the wedge can be inserted between the ground and bottom edge of the door.

Device for securing french door in desired position

A door stop assembly for securing a door in a desired position may include a block portion; and an arm portion extending from the block portion at an angle, wherein the arm portion may be sized to fit within a space between a door jamb and a door. The device may also include a top cap and a bottom cap made of, for example, a non-slip material to prevent or reduce slipping of the device during use.

CONTACT-MINIMIZING DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING SYSTEM
20200399939 · 2020-12-24 ·

A contact-minimizing door opening and closing system for a door has a handle including a shaft with an endplate disposed on the shaft opposite the handle and a latch bolt including a pin positioned to contact the endplate. The pin prevents movement of the handle when the latch bolt is extended from a lock housing, and allows movement of the handle when the latch bolt is retracted into the lock housing. An engaging and disengaging mechanism couples the handle to a locking pin such that movement of the handle is configured to operate the engaging and disengaging mechanism to lock the door.

Protracting blocker for doors equipped with a closer piston
10871015 · 2020-12-22 ·

An angularly variable device for use on a door having a closer piston with a piston arm wherein the angularly variable device is a protracting blocker comprised of a first section and a second section. Each section comprises a wall from which extends at least one tab extending perpendicularly therefrom. From the wall extends generally perpendicularly at least one but preferably a plurality of tabs so that the at least one tab on each of the first section and the second section rests on top of the piston arm. A retainer presses against an elbow joint forming part of the piston arm so as to firmly press the wall against the piston arm so that one side of the blocker is pressed against one side of the piston arm while the retainer presses against the opposite side of the piston arm so as to provide a secure installation of the blocker on the piston arm. A lever pivoted into a horizontal position presses the two sections together so that they remain in a given fixed position relative to each other so as to immobilize the piston arm in a given position.
