DOOR PROP DEVICE
A door prop device that can be utilized to maintain a door in an open position is described. The door prop device is easy to install and remove from the door and will retain the door in the desired open position. The door prop is designed to be usable with the hinge mechanism found on most commercial doors.
AIRCRAFT EMERGENCY EXIT DOOR WITH INTEGRATED MECHANISMS AND METHOD FOR OPENING/CLOSING SUCH A DOOR
An aircraft emergency exit door (10) with opening mechanisms integrated by a grouping of the mechanisms into a door beam (3) located on a given side of a window (16) of standard dimensions. In the beam, an inner handle (1) is mounted on a main shaft (102) connected with a locking shaft (8A) on which there is mounted, against return springs (83), a door blocking/locking mechanism (8) comprising a lock (81). A mechanism for conditionally opening the door (100) includes a vent flap (110), a pivot connection (12) for coupling the flap (110) to the inner handle (1), and a blocking shaft (120) that has, at each end, a pressure lever (121) equipped with supports for blocking (122) and unblocking (123) the flap (110). Return springs (32) mounted against the conditional opening mechanism (100) are calibrated to allow the opening of the flap (110) by exerting reduced pressure in residual pressure variation conditions, and to prevent it from opening in overpressure conditions.
Rotary door stop
The present disclosure provides a rotary door stop. The rotary door stop includes a door stop rotation base and a door stop body. The door stop body rotates about the door stop rotation base to define a locked state or an unlocked state. By engagement between a first limiting portion and a second limiting portion, the rotary door stop is retained in the locked state for ease of door closing; and when the rotary door stop approaches a door frame, retention of the unlocked state may also be released while the door is closed.
Gate Block Method and Hardware
A method when a spring loaded, or non-spring loaded gate is opened, a wood block is placed into the right angled space created between the vertically hinged open gate's end piece which is attached to the fence or other structure to which the gate is attached end piece, the block held in place by a smooth bolt on a connecting tool, which is held in the block with a curved cupped features that extend from the connecting tool, and inserted with a friction fit into a receiving cavity of a receiving tool, consisting of a receiving cavity on one end and curved cupped features that extend outward from the receiving tool, which is installed on the end piece of the fence or other structures on which the rotating piece of the hinge is connected, the two part hardware fastening device comprises a receiving tool and a connecting tool.
Hinge Allowing Opening Along More Than One Axis and Complete Disengagement of Hinge and Removal of Hinged Device
The present invention provides a hinge apparatus for attaching a hinged device, such as a lid or door, to a structure to which the hinged device is to be attached. The hinge apparatus operates using hinge pins operable to selectively engage or disengage between the hinged device and the structure. In a closed position all pins can be engaged between the hinged device and the structure to hold the hinged device in the closed position. When desired to move the device to an open position, the hinge apparatus is operated so the pins on the desired hinge side are engaged between the hinged device and the structure while the pins on the opposite side of the hinged device are disengaged between the hinged device and the structure. This allows the hinged device to be rotated about the selected engaged pins, the engaged pins forming the hinge axis.
Door stop mechanism
A door stop mechanism having a) a bracket housing configured to be mounted to a frame; and b) a swivel stop rotationally affixed to the bracket housing and able to rotate between a retracted position and an extended position; wherein in the extended position, the swivel stop is configured to be partially wedged between the frame and a door stile to maintain a door in an open position; and wherein in the retracted position, the swivel stop is configured to retract into the bracket housing and allow the door to be in a closed position.
SHELF SUPPORTING APPARATUS AND COOKING APPLIANCE INCLUDING A SHELF SUPPORTING APPARATUS
A shelf supporting apparatus and a cooking appliance including a shelf supporting apparatus are provided. The shelf supporting apparatus may include a pair of fixing frames provided to face each other on opposite sides of a chamber which is opened and closed by a door; a pair of supports provided to have a length which is changeable in a frontward-rearward direction, the pair of supports being, respectively, coupled to the pair of fixing frames and having a shelf mounted thereon; coupling members provided on the pair of fixing frames and coupling the pair of supports to the pair of fixing frames to be position-changeable in the frontward-rearward direction; and a pair of connecting members that, respectively, connects the pair of supports and the door, and changing positions of the pair of supports in the frontward-rearward direction in conjunction with a rotation of the door.
Doorstop Apparatus
A doorstop apparatus for holding a door in an open position is provided. The door has a door edge surrounded by a door frame. The doorstop apparatus comprises a block of material and at least one magnet mounted to the block of material. The block of material is capable of being positioned between the door edge and the door frame, the magnet interacting with either the door or the door frame.
Door jam stopper device
A system and method of preventing the fixed side opening of a door from closing along the door jamb of a door frame. A guard device is provided generally comprising a pivoting member, an attachment member, a mounting system and a bumper. The pivoting member has a first end and a second end. An attachment member and bumper attach to the pivoting member. Mounting system connects to the attachment member at a central void. The mounting system connects to a prior art door stop of a door frame such that the guard device can swivel between a first position and a second position. In a first position guard device is proximate door stop such that the door is capable of fully closing against door stop. In a second position guard device is capable of maintaining the fixed side opening of the prior art door assembly. Bumper swivels outward to contact the end of the door. After guard device is engaged in the second position fixed side opening is incapable of narrowing.
POWERED HINGE MECHANISMS
A device can include a hinge mechanism rotatably coupling a first portion of the device to a second portion of the device. The hinge mechanism is configured to automatically open the device. The device can also include a damper configured to control a rate at which the hinge mechanism automatically opens the device. The hinge mechanism can include a spine hinge, a rolling contact hinge, a film hinge, or a geared link hinge.
