A door security device can include a door member mounted to a swinging door, and a connector. The door member can include a slot having openings in at least one end and in an outer face. An end of a first leg of the connector can have a shape configured to mate with the first slot to permit the first leg to slide into the first slot such that the first leg extends out of the first slot through an opening in the outer face of the door member and such that a distal end of the second leg interferes with a surface of a door frame to prevent rotation of the swinging door relative to the door frame.

A locking device intended to prevent opening of a door/doors includes a body (2), which is capable of being coupled immovably to a door handle and prevents opening of a door/doors. The body is provided with a coupling arrangement adjustable with adjustment elements for locking the handle against an external surface of the door by being propped immovably on a vertical frame member of the door or on a handle of the adjacent door.

A door restraint device includes a support bar and a strap. The support bar is configured to be arranged horizontally and extend across and be supported against a door frame proximate a handle of a door positioned in the door frame. The strap is connected to the support bar and sized to connect to a handle of the door.

A lock assembly is provided for a window having a first sash and a second sash. The lock assembly comprises an elongate strip configured to be coupled to the first sash. The elongate strip has a plurality of recesses defined along a length of the elongate strip. The lock assembly also includes a lock member configured to be coupled to the second sash and operable to move along the length of the elongate strip. The lock member includes a biasing member and a coupler biased in a direction of the elongate strip by the biasing member. The coupler is configured to enter each of the plurality of recesses to selectively lock the lock member to the elongate strip.

The first and second door members may be mounted to first and second door panels, respectively. The first and second door members include first and second slots, respectively. The connecting member has first end with a shape configured to mate with the first and second slots to permit the first end to slide into the first and second slots such that the connecting member extends out of the first slot and the second slot through openings in the first outer face and the second outer face.

The locking apparatus includes a central member having an actuator, a shaft connected to the actuator, at least one cam attached to the shaft, a control circuit configured to control operations of the locking apparatus, and a lifting member configured to be raised or lowered according to a command position. A method is provided for operating a mounted locking apparatus in a locked or unlocked state.
