Straight action flush lock for casement window and method of operating the same
A low profile actuating window lock for casement windows having a longitudinal slot in a sidewall of the casing for the lock, wherein an actuator including a fork component translates within the slot in a direction opposite movement of the handle, the handle pivotable about a restrictor arm that pivots relative to the casing, allowing the handle to rotate from the locked position to the unlocked position with low clearance from the window frame. The pivot points of the handle and restrictor arm configuration allow for an over center linkage that prevents back driving the casement window lock.

A sash window fastener includes: a latch assembly; a sash lock assembly mounted upon the meeting rail; and a stop member mounted to the master window frame. The lock assembly includes a pivotable cam to engage a keeper on the master frame to lock the window, and a pivotable follower arm. The arm interconnects with the latch assembly within the meeting rail, so cam rotation that drives arm rotation also causes translation of the latch. The cam may occupy: an extended position to secure the cam to the keeper, with the latch engaging the master frame to prevent tilting, and being positioned below a protrusion on the stop member to redundantly lock the window; a first retracted cam position permitting sliding of the window; and a second retracted position permitting tilting of the sash window. Additional protrusions may be used on the stop member to serve as vent stop positions.

Latch
A latch that is waterproof or water-resistant so as to resist the entry of water through the latch. The latch can be a slam latch having a pawl with a shaft. A sealing element, for example, a collar and/or an O-ring, can be placed around the shaft of the pawl to resist water from entering through the latch. The pawl can also enclose the cavity in which the latch handle is maintained so water cannot enter through the cavity. Other measures, such as a gasket and selective welding, can also be implemented to improve the water-resistance of the latch.

A fuel door opener assembly is configured to lock or unlock a fuel door of a vehicle and includes: an opener housing in which a space is formed; a locking lever slidably installed inside the opener housing, elastically supported in a direction to be drawn out from the opener housing, and configured to lock and unlock the fuel door; a locking pin configured to be moved along a heart cam formed on the locking lever to restrict a location of the locking lever in accordance with a position thereof on a profile of the heart cam; and an elastic member disposed in the opener housing and elastically supporting the locking pin to allow the locking pin to be positioned on the profile of the heart cam.

The pivot points of the handle and restrictor arm configuration allow for an over center linkage that prevents back driving the casement window lock.
DOOR LOCK
Provided is a door lock, including at least one latch portion, and a controlling portion for actuating the latch portion. The controlling portion includes a base having a configuration hole and a linkage assembly disposed on the base. The linkage assembly includes an actuating member movably disposed on the base, a driving member connected to the actuating member, a sliding member connected to the driving member, disposed on the base and having at least one opening, and a connecting member connected to the sliding member and the latch portion for enabling the sliding member to drive the connecting member and actuate the latch portion and exposing the configuration hole from the opening when the actuating member drives the driving member to actuate the sliding member. When the door lock is repaired, the screw thread can be set in the configuration hole from the opening without removing the linkage assembly.

The invention relates to a lock for a fuel tank cap or tailboard in a vehicle, comprising a locking bolt (1) which can be adjusted between an open and a closed position by opening and closing the cap or tailboard. Said fuel tank cap lock, in the housing (2) of the lock, is positively driven counter to the force of a compression spring (4) in the direction of its longitudinal axis (6) and about its longitudinal axis (6).

A temporary door hardware system includes a latch assembly securable between a first side component and a second side component when the first and second side component are installed in the door. The latch assembly is dimensioned for integration with an opening in an door frame. The latch assembly includes first assembled position relative to the first and second side components. The latch assembly includes a second assembled position relative to the first and second side components. The latch assembly in the first assembled position extends from the first and second side components a greater distance than the latch assembly in the second position.
