DOOR-EQUIPPED HOUSING

A door-equipped housing includes a box body having an opening formed on one side thereof, and a door to close the opening, the door being supported by the box body to be rotatable about a rotational axis. The box body has a projecting portion formed on an inside of a wall of the box body extending from the opening toward a deep side of the box body. The door includes a hook portion to engage the projected portion for preventing the door from opening, the hook portion being located on a deeper side of the box body than the projecting portion as the door closes the opening, and a flexible part extending in a direction away from a surface of the wall having the projected portion formed thereon as the door closes the opening. The flexible part bends together with a movement of the hook portion to climb over the projecting portion during an opening/closing operation of the door.

Locking device with mechanical detection of closing and opening
09816301 · 2017-11-14 · ·

A locking device includes a locking pair having a bolt to engage with a retainer and a detection linkage. The bolt is movably mounted against a spring which tends to return the bolt to a position spaced apart from the retainer. The detection linkage is also movably mounted between an unlocked position where the detection linkage allows unlocking of the bolt and the retainer. In particular, a portion of the bolt then engages with the detection linkage by means of a detecting part of the detection linkage to block a possible return of the detection linkage towards a locked position where the detection linkage engages with the portion of the bolt so as to oppose to unlocking of the bolt. The detecting part irreversibly drives the detection linkage to its unlocked position even when one locking pair is unlocked.

Gravity Gate Latch Lockable and Unlockable by a Padlock from Both Sides of a Gate
20170321460 · 2017-11-09 ·

A gravity gate latch that is sized and configured to be positioned in the gap between the free end of a gate and a stationary object when the end of the gate is adjacent the stationary object to automatically engage a strike member on the gate. The gate latch has a pair of side plates that are spaced apart to define a space that encloses a lever actuating mechanism and a hook plate. The hook plate has a hook member that engages the strike member of the gate. The lever actuating mechanism has a pair of lever arms, which can be accessed from either side of the gate, that move the hook plate upward to disengage the strike member. A lock receiving member at the bottom of the gate latch receives a padlock to lock the gate latch. The padlock can also be accessed from either side of the gate.

Controller and home appliance having automatic opening structure

A control method includes controlling a lever, a pusher and a motor so as to arrange the same in a correct position when electric power is supplied to the home appliance, or the user turns on the home appliance. Abnormalities involving an automatic opening of the door through changes in a return/stop switch and an opening sensing switch while the motor operates so as to open the door may be confirmed.

A latching device for a door includes an actuator, a first rod, a second rod, a transom latch, and a side latch having a hook latch head. The actuator may include a rod holder including a lockout configured to inhibit disengagement of a rod from the rod holder. The side latch may be a mortise latch which may include a channel configured to receive a nut for alignment during installation. When installed in an associated door, the latching device may withstand multiple impacts from windborne objects or pressures induced by high winds.

System for monitoring the state of a hook-keeper unit

A system for monitoring the state of a hook-keeper unit of an aeronautical structure. The hook-keeper unit is movable between a latched state and in a non-latched state, a mechanical warning element is movable between an exposed state and an unexposed state, and a connecting mechanism comprises a first end coupled to the hook-keeper unit, and a second end coupled to the mechanical warning element. The connecting mechanism is configured to automatically transmit the state of the hook-keeper unit to the mechanical warning element. The hook-keeper unit and the mechanical warning element are coupled between them by the connecting mechanism in an automatic bijective relationship, so that when the hook-keeper unit is in the latched state, the mechanical warning element is automatically in the unexposed state, and when the hook-keeper unit is in the non-latched state, the mechanical warning element is automatically in the exposed state.
