SAFETY DEVICE
Disclosed herein is a safety device for attachment at an edge of a door leaf. The safety device comprises a pressure monitor and an electromagnetic lock element. The pressure monitor is configured, in response to a force being applied to the safety device, to issue a signal.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING DOOR OPENING EVENTS
A method to automatically audit the number of units within an enclosure having at least one door includes receiving from a remote telemetry device data indicating the number of times within a predetermined period of time a door has been opened to a predetermined open position relative to the enclosure, the predetermined open position of the door being specifically calibrated by a sensor device being mechanically set when the sensor device is installed on the enclosure proximal to the door as a position of the door between a closed position and a more fully opened position beyond the predetermined open position, to generate a door opening count, wherein the remote telemetry device includes a sensor configured to be adjustably calibrated to sense when the door is at the predetermined open position relative to the enclosure based upon the adjustable calibration, to generate the door opening count. A remote telemetry device for automatically auditing the number of items within an enclosure having at least one door for removal and restocking of the items that includes a remote telemetry device in communication with at least one sensor device configured to be calibrated, the calibration of the sensor device being set when the sensor device is installed based upon the size of an item, the sensor configured to detect the door opening to a calibrated door open position, data indicative of the number of items within the enclosure to determine a current count.
MAGNETIC LOCK WITH RESILIENT ABUTTING MEMBER FOR ELIMINATING REMANENCE
A remanence-eliminating magnetic lock includes a housing, an electromagnetic body and a resilient abutting member. The electromagnetic body can be assembled into the housing and receive externally-supplied electricity to generate a magnetic attraction force on a top surface thereof The resilient abutting member has a fixing end to be fixed within the housing or the electromagnetic body, and an abutting end exposed from the housing or the top surface of the electromagnetic body. A peak of the abutting end is higher than the top surface of the electromagnetic body. When a metal member is magnetically attached to the top surface of the electromagnetic body, the metal member pressures the abutting end to deform. When the supply of electricity to the magnetic lock is cut off, the abutting end pushes the metal member through a restoring force thereof to move the metal member away from the electromagnetic body to eliminate remanence.
Accessible Tub and Shower
A walk-in tub, or combination walk-in tub and shower, having a front wall with an outwardly swinging door permitting easy entry into and egress from the tub by a user and an electromagnetic door latch assembly further comprising a plurality of electromagnetic door latches that are operatively interconnected to an electrical controller, a power supply and a rapid-release touch switch that can be selectively manipulated to interrupt the power supply to the electromagnetic latches, thereby allowing the door to swing open under emergency conditions even when the tub is filled with water.
Systems and methods for monitoring door opening events
One or more monitoring systems and methods for monitoring opening events for a door of an enclosure includes a sensor device configured to be specifically calibrated to sense when the door is at a predetermined open position relative to the enclosure, the sensor device providing sensor output and a telemetry output system configured to transmit the sensor output. The sensor device that may include an arm which when the door opens, the arm slides against the door resulting in a switch event when the door is opened to the predetermined open position relative to the enclosure, the switch event resulting in sensor output. The present disclosure further relates to making predictions of the number of units within an enclosure based upon data gathered by one or more suitable sensors.
Skylight operating system of modular data center
The present invention discloses a skylight operating system of a modular data center, so as to timely respond to a firefighting requirement of the modular data center to reduce occurrence of firefighting-related accidents. The skylight operating system comprises: an electric skylight; a firefighting environment index monitoring device arranged inside the modular data center; a monitoring and interacting device arranged in a monitoring room outside the modular data center, and connected with the electric skylight and the firefighting environment index monitoring device, the monitoring and interacting device adapted for receiving monitoring information of the firefighting environment index monitoring device, and opening the electric skylight upon determination that a firefighting-related issue occurs inside the modular data center.
SAFETY DEVICE
Disclosed herein is a safety device for attachment at an edge of a door leaf. The safety device comprises a pressure monitor and an electromagnetic lock element. The pressure monitor is configured, in response to a force being applied to the safety device, to issue a signal.
Effects Control Module and Method of Magnetic Closure for Battery Door
An effects control module for a musical instrument has a housing and a battery enclosure assembly rotatably coupled to the housing. The battery enclosure assembly includes a door with a magnetic plate attractive to a surface of the housing to enable final closure of the battery enclosure assembly with respect to the housing absent external force. No external human force is needed to enable and complete final closure of the battery enclosure assembly with respect to the housing after the critical magnetic position of the door. The battery enclosure assembly is disposed on a first side surface of the housing with a battery area and latch configured to contain a battery. A material is disposed on the door to soften the closure. A second side surface of the housing includes a paramagnetic material to provide substantially no magnetic influence from the second side surface of the housing.
Exit device systems and methods
An exit device according to one embodiment includes a plurality of sensors and an electronic dogging mechanism. The exit device is configured to locally analyze sensor data to determine the security state of the exit device, report data to a management system via a wireless communication channel established between the exit device and the management system, and receive and process instructions to perform an electronic dogging operation.
System and method for inductive power transfer to door
A system and method for a door is disclosed. The system includes a frame magnetic lock assembly mounted to a door frame, and a door magnetic lock assembly mounted to a door for receiving inductively transferred power from the frame magnetic lock assembly. The door system also includes a door electronics subsystem mounted to the door that includes a power management system that provides power to the door from the inductively transferred power, and charges an energy storage element at the door from the inductively transferred power. The power management system provides power to the door from the energy storage element when the inductively transferred power is not available at the door, such as when the door is open, and resumes providing power to the door from the inductively transferred power once the inductively transferred power is restored. Once restored, some of the inductive power recharges the energy storage element.
