Door Locking Assembly
20220136295 · 2022-05-05 ·

A door locking assembly for locking a door from the inside includes a brace that has a pair of slots each integrated therein such that a respective one of the slots can be positioned on a neck of a doorknob. The brace is longitudinally elongated to extend between a door on which the doorknob is positioned and an adjacent door jamb. A pair of fingers is each coupled to and extends away from the brace. Each of the fingers extends along a line oriented perpendicular to the brace. In this way each of the fingers extends between the door and the door jamb thereby inhibiting the brace from spinning downwardly on the doorknob.

A door locking apparatus is provided which includes an integrated plate having a strike plate adjoined to an extension, and a lock coupled to a flexible elongate member. The strike plate includes an aperture and fastener holes, and is configured such that it securely affixes to the recess of a door frame when the door is open. The extension is shaped to protrude from the surrounding frame when the strike plate is installed to the frame. The elongate member extends from the extension and is of sufficient length to wrap around a door handle when the door is closed. The lock can pass through the elongate member and an intermediate portion thereof passes through the lock, or, through an opening in the extension such that the door cannot be opened without unlocking the lock and removing it from the elongate member when the elongate member is wrapped around the handle.

The present subject matter provides a locking system configured to lock at least one furniture moving component, the locking system comprising: a strip configured to attach to a wall of a furniture and extend out of the furniture beyond the at least one furniture moving component; and a fastener configured to accommodate the strip, slide along the strip and fasten to the strip while clinging to the at least one furniture moving component, thereby locking the at least one furniture moving component. In addition, there is provided a method for manufacturing a fastener made of one piece of material, the method comprising: preparing a mold of the fastener; and inserting a casting material into the mold. Furthermore, there is provided a method for locking at least one furniture moving component of a furniture with the locking system of the present subject matter.

Security latch for a swing bar door guard
10975602 · 2021-04-13 ·

A security latch for a swing bar door guard having a break away rotatable cross-member to further secure the swing bar so as to permit a minimal gap between the door and doorway when the door is opened while the cross-member extends through the swing bar retaining arm passage and is rotated lengthwise across the span to secure the swing bar. The minimal gap inhibits the introduction of a tool into the span along the midsection of the swing bar that could be used to pry the swing bar members apart to release the knob of a swing bar retaining arm.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a portable door lock assembly that prevents rotation of a hinged stall door away from a stall wall. The assembly includes an elongated track member and a foundation member. The elongated track member having a recess and an end stop. The foundation member having a body permitted to translate along the elongated track member and includes an arm member extending outward from the body and a latch configured to selectively engage the recess of the elongated track member to selectively secure the foundation member to a position along the elongated track member.

Device for securing a door

A device for securing a door includes an elongated flat rigid member. A first segment is connected to a second segment by a transition segment perpendicular to the first and second segments. The first segment forms an aperture to admit a restraining device. The device also includes a first blocking member having two apertures and configured to engage the first member such that the restraining device restrains the first blocking member relative to the flat rigid member. The device also includes a second blocking member configured to lockably engage the second segment, thereby securing the device relative to a frame of the door with the first and second segments on opposite sides of the frame. When the device is secured and the door closed, and the first blocking member restrained relative to the flat rigid member, the door is blocked from being opened by the first and second blocking members.

AUXILIARY DOOR BRACE APPARATUS

A door barricade apparatus includes a body portion having a pushing face, a port, an advancing interface, and a release interface. The apparatus further includes a shaft portion having a shaft and a door bracket. The door bracket has a throat terminating in at least an l-shaped configuration. The door bracket is pivotably coupled to the shaft at a first end and the shaft is disposed within the port.

LOCKING MECHANISM FOR DOUBLE DOORS

A locking mechanism for double doors includes a three-sided bar having a top side and a pair of vertical sides extending downwardly from the edges of the top side. Each vertical side includes a slot formed therein. An L-shaped bracket has a first section for attachment to an interior surface of a door, and a second section that extends through a slot in the door outwardly through the exterior side of the door. To lock the doors, the second portion of the bracket slides through the slots in the vertical sides of the bar. A lock hole is positioned on the second portion of the bracket, and when the three-sided bar is engaged with the bracket and the lock hole is positioned between the vertical sides of the bar, a padlock or combination lock engages the lock hole to hold the bar in place across the double doors.
