ELECTRICAL PANELBOARD GUARD WITH COUPLED MEMBERS

Disclosed herein is a panelboard guard assembly configured to restrict access to a panelboard having a cover and a door defined therein, the cover having first and second side edges. The panelboard guard assembly includes overlapping members that are, at least in some implementations, mutually coupled to each other. The panelboard guard assembly further includes an adjustment mechanism that extends between and couples the members together, the adjustment mechanism facilitating adjustment of the distance between the outer ends of the members.

Axial Lock
20190128023 · 2019-05-02 ·

An apparatus for engaging a locking mechanism having a first body, a second body, and two bolt assemblies. The first body having a longitudinal interior channel and recesses on each end. The second body having an interior channel. The bolt assemblies having first and second bolts, a connection member, and a tongue. The first bolt being insertable into the first body and slidable and rotatable therein. The second bolt being insertable into said second body and slidable therein. Engaging the lock by inserting the first bolt into the interior channel of the first body and the second bolt into the interior channel of the second body. The rotation of the bolt assemblies allows the user to align the second bolts with the channel of the second body. The tongue forms an interference fit with the recesses on the first body to hold the lock tightly in the locked position.

SAFETY GATE

A safety gate includes a first column, disposed on a first side of an elevator shaft, a second column, disposed on a second side of the elevator shaft, a first gate panel, and a second gate panel. The first gate panel is coupled to the first column via a first locking hinge. The second gate panel is coupled to the second column via a second locking hinge.

Cabinet lock

A cabinet lock includes a first knob mount and a separate second knob mount. The first knob mount is arranged to mate with a doorknob carried on a first cabinet door. The second knob mount is arranged to mate with a doorknob carried on the second cabinet door to retain the first and second cabinet doors in closed positions.

Apparatuses and methods for securing a door. The apparatuses include a door clamp having a stop, a base, a jamb bracket, and a fastener and are used to clamp a door to prevent opening of the door.

Lock

An electro-mechanical lock for cargo containers or similar enclosed spaces such as storage units. The locking mechanism includes a dual-ratcheting mechanism, which is normally in the locked position, and which firmly secures doors of a container or other enclosure. To unlock the device, the user obtains a temporary access code and unlocks the device, either by a wireless interface or by, for example, a key pad. The device incorporates a rolling access code algorithm that changes the access code based upon a pre-defined customer selected time period during which the code is valid. Once the validity period expires the user must obtain a new access code from a secure access code source to unlock the device. When access is desired, the user contacts a remote secure access code source, which provides the access code for the associated lock and time period.

Systems, methods, and devices for securing cargo

Enhanced methods and systems for securing and monitoring cargo are described. Some examples provide a cargo monitoring system (CMS) that is configured to track, identify, and report about anomalous conditions or events related to cargo shipments. The CMS may include a software system that receives conditions information from electromechanical locks that secure cargo. The locks include data terminals that facilitate near real time monitoring of cargo. The electromechanical locks are installed on the bars or other mechanism (e.g., door rings) that lock the doors of a cargo container, train car, van door, or the like. The data terminals include logic that is configured to transmit to the CMS information about current conditions, such as location, temperature, lock status (e.g., open, closed), tamper attempts, and the like. The cargo monitoring system interprets the received information and performs various actions based thereon, such as to transmit alerts if anomalous conditions are detected.

DOUBLE DOOR SAFETY LOCK

The present invention provides a locking device based on a rack and pinion mechanism for securing a double door system, for example cabinets with double door. The locking system comprises a pair of jaws extending from a central housing and adapted to mount over the two handles of double door and the jaws are operably coupled to a gear assembly enclosed in the central housing. The gear assembly could be cranked to move the jaws laterally in extended and retracted position for tightening and loosening the locking device over the handles.
