DEVICE FOR MONITORING AND SECURING MOBILE ASSETS
An improved monitoring and securing device is provided. Example embodiments provide a monitoring and securing device that includes a fastening system with an elongation and compression mechanism that allows it to be adapted to different topographies of the surface to which they are fastened and are designed to secure two irregular elements to form a connection. Thus, the improved monitoring and securing device can be simultaneously fastened to, for example, one right door and one left door that close to form a connection that is uneven in depth, while monitoring related events such as installation and removal of the monitoring and securing device, opening and closing of the movable entity's locking mechanism and doors, and other events.
DOOR BARRICADE
An embodiment in accordance with the present invention provides a device that is easily deployable on almost any style of door and prevents an intruder from opening the door. The device has a thin flat profile that is easily slid under a door and is also easily stored. The device includes a portion that engages the floor and the door to prevent the door from opening. The geometry of the portion that engages the floor and the door is such that the upward force on the door is increased when the door is either pushed or pulled. The harder an intruder pushes or pulls on the door, the more the device will grip both the door and floor itself. The device also includes a kickstand to keep the device in place and allow for easy removal.
Furniture drawer locking device
A device for securing closed a drawer of a dresser, cabinet or desk. The device includes a base that is secured to an interior surface of the frame, which cannot be accessed when the drawer is closed within the drawer opening of the frame, and an extending member. The extending member has a first end portion that attaches releasably to the base, and a second end that extends exteriorly through the drawer opening and between the drawer and the frame. The device is not built into or integral with the drawer or the frame of the dresser, cabinet or desk.
Child proof cupboard closure
A cabinet closure device is made from a section of cord and utilizes two cord stop devices to form a loop of cord that is adjustable and securable around two objects to be secured. A user slides the closure device around two objects and then pulls on both of the loop ends to secure the closure device around the objects. To release the closure device, the user need only release the cord stops and the closure device will be loosen and the objects released. For the best function, the knot on the end of the cord that does not have the cord stop should be pulled tight against the main cord stop. Once the unit is placed around the knobs of a cabinet, the user can simply pull the 2.sup.nd cord to tighten the device. Once tight, the additional cord stop can be slid upwards abutting the main cord stop.
Locking Bracket For Securing A Gate To A Fence Post
The present invention relates to a locking bracket for securing two adjacent bodies to one another, in particular for securing a gate to a fence post. The locking bracket comprises a first hoop and a second hoop that, together with the first hoop, surrounds a region for receiving the two adjacent bodies. The hoops respectively have a first end and a second end, wherein they are connected to one another in an articulated manner at their first ends so that the hoops can be pivoted between an open position in which the locking bracket can be arranged around the two adjacent bodies and a closed position in which the hoops together surround the region for receiving the two adjacent bodies. Each of the hoops forms a lug at their free ends, said lug being oriented substantially perpendicular to the second end and having at least one bore.
Access denying device
A restrictor having flexible adjustable arms so that it may fit various opening sizes and shapes. The overall shape can be crisscross or spider web design. Attachments such as clips, clamps or other fastening devices can be provided to make attachment to the perimeter of the opening easy.
Door brace
A door brace (10) comprising: an engagement member (12) comprising a bottom flange (14) comprising one face comprising a textured surface (14a) to engage with a door (34); an angled leg (20) comprising a first section (22) hingedly connected at one end to the wall and a second section (23) extending from the first section at a first angle, the leg being movable between a stowed position and an extended position in which the first section makes a second angle, larger than the first angle, to the wall; an engagement foot (26) pivotably mounted on a mounting element (24) having an adjustable length; and a hinge stop configured to prevent the leg moving beyond a maximum extended position. Wherein, in an extended position, the second section of the leg extends at a third angle to the wall equal to the difference between the second and first angles and the engagement foot causes a clamping force to be applied to the door.
Panel lock
A panel lock is provided to lock a movable panel to a relatively stationary base.
SLIDING DOOR BLOCKING SYSTEM
A sliding door blocking system includes a first blocking apparatus and a second blocking apparatus. The first blocking apparatus may have a first raised portion and at least two first wings. The second blocking apparatus may have a second raised portion and at least two second wings. The first and second blocking apparatuses may both be placed in tracks of a sliding door frame to prevent a sliding door from being removed. That is, the at least two first wings and the at least two second wings may be inserted into the tracks of the sliding door frame.
Security gate
A security gate including an outer gate and an inner gate for selective passage of people and/or pets therethrough. In one example, the security gate includes: an outer frame; an outer gate at least partially disposed within the outer frame; an inner gate disposed within the outer gate, the inner gate comprising an inner frame having at least one recess; a door at least partially disposed within the inner frame; and at least one projection extending from the outer gate and engaging the at least one recess for supporting the inner gate within the outer gate.
