SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMPLEMENTING AN IMPROVED BI-FOLD SHUTTER
An improved bi-fold shutter that includes a more efficient coupling mechanism at a hinge point suited to facilitate opening and closing the bi-fold shutter with greater ease. In one embodiment, the shutter may be designed for a window such that the shutter, when closed, is relatively close to the face of the associated window, and when open, forms an awning or overhang. The shutter includes an improved coupling mechanism at a hinge point between a first shutter portion and a second shutter portion. The improved hinge point shifts a direction of force needed to maneuver the shutter when moving the shutter from one position to another. The shift in opening and closing force directions improves the efficiency by which the shutter can be operated. In some embodiments, the shutter may be hand-operated. In other embodiments, the shutter may be powered.
PIVOT DEVICE WITH AN INTERLOCKING LIFTING MECHANISM
A pivot device with an interlocking lifting mechanism includes a first interlocking member to which first and second shafts and a second interlocking member are pivotably connected. A torque device is mounted around the first and second shafts. A third interlocking member is pivotably connected to the second interlocking member and includes a sliding groove. A fixing seat includes a pivotal member extending through the sliding groove. The second interlocking member is slidably received in a guiding groove of the guiding seat. When the first shaft pivots through a certain angle, the first interlocking member pivots about the second shaft and actuates the second interlocking member. The third interlocking member pivots relative to the fixing seat. The sliding groove slides relative to the pivotal member. The second distal end synchronously slides relative to the first guiding groove to lift an auxiliary screen unit connected to the third proximal end.

DOOR OPENING/CLOSING APPARATUS AND HINGE
A door opening/closing apparatus is provided which can expand storage space in a main body. A door opening/closing apparatus includes at least two hinges, and a connecting bar that is connected to the at least two hinges. Each hinge includes a main body-side member, a door-side member, a main arm, a first link, and a second link, and causes a door to move parallel to itself between a closed position and an open position. The main arm includes a bent portion. The connecting bar is mounted on a door side of the main arm. A center of the connecting bar in a width direction thereof is placed on a second shaft side relative to a center between a first shaft and the second shaft of the main arm in a front view of the door in a state where the door is in the closed position.
Line of a manufacturing plant for assembling of multicomponent articles
An assembly line (40) includes a transport system having pallets (70), a riveting machine (100) with a stop device (1005) and a riveting device (1010), and a crushing head (1011). The stop device (1005) and the riveting device (1010) flank the pallet (70) on opposite sides, while a stop (1006) of the stop device (1005) and the crushing head (1011) are translatable to approach the article from opposite sides during assembly.
HINGE FOR THE OPENING AND CLOSING OF HINGED DOORS OF FURNITURE
Hinge for the opening and the closing of hinged doors of furniture units, including a first fixed body designed to be housed in a seat of a horizontal plane of the structure of a furniture unit, such as a base or a top, and a second movable body designed to be housed in a seat of a door of the furniture unit, to actuate the door during opening and closing by way of of a movement mechanism including at least one lever or connecting rod connecting a pin placed on the fixed part of the hinge and a pin placed on the movable part, wherein the closing force of the door is determined by a spring, the spring acting, with a tilting action, on an extension of the connecting rod beyond the hinge pin.
HINGE FOR A FURNITURE DOOR, AND FURNITURE CARCASS HAVING SUCH A HINGE
A hinge for a furniture door includes a first hinge part is formed with a cassette-shaped housing for integration into a furniture panel, and a second hinge part is designed in the form of a hinge pot to be attached to the furniture door. The two hinge parts are pivotably connected to one another via a lever mechanism. The housing of the first hinge part is widened in a front region, in which an opening for the lever mechanism is situated, in relation to a rear region. In a closed position of the hinge, at least part of the lever mechanism occupies a space in the front widened region.
