Frame assembly splice
A frame assembly supporting an overhead door has a horizontal header connected to upright columns or posts with splice assemblies. Fasteners mounted on the columns cooperate with retainers on the splice assemblies to position and connect the columns to the header. Hinge assemblies pivotally mount the door on the header for movement between open and closed positions.
Hinge and System for Detachably Connecting a Door to a Frame
The invention relates to a hinge for releasably connecting a door to a frame, including: a frame part for fastening to the frame, a door part for fastening to the door, a hinge pin having a pin axis and a locking element. The frame part and the door part are movable relative to one another along the pin axis between a pivoted position and an installed position; in the pivoted position the frame part and the door part are connected to one another in such a way that the frame part and the door part are pivotable relative to one another about the pin axis between an open position and a closed position. The locking element is adjustable between a locking position and a release position, and the movement of the frame part and of the door part relative to one another along the pin axis from the pivoted position into the installed position is positively inhibited by the locking element the locking position and is freed by the locking element in the release position, the locking element being retained on the frame part or on the door part so as to be adjustable between the locking position and the release position.
Various hinge brackets and a hinge receiver for a laundry appliance
A hinge bracket to couple a hinge to a lid of a laundry appliance comprising: an elongated slot receiving a connector portion of a hinge; first fastener receivers extending from the elongated slot laterally inward toward a midline of a cabinet of the laundry appliance and configured to cooperate with fastener receivers of the hinge to receive fasteners that fasten the hinge to the hinge bracket; second fastener receivers on an opposite side of the hinge bracket as the first fastener receivers and configured to cooperate with the fastener receivers through a C-shaped lip of the lid to receive fasteners fastening the lid to the hinge bracket; and an indented portion formed laterally away from the elongated slot and facing the curved portion of the hinge. The laundry appliance can further include a hinge receiver to couple the hinge to a cabinet.
Coupling assembly for coupling a wristworn device to a strap
A sleeve for use in an assembly for coupling a wristworn device to a first end of a strap. The sleeve has a first end dimensioned to be received in the recess in the inner face of the first lug of a wristworn device, an inner cavity dimensioned to receive therein the first end of a conventional spring bar, and a retractor coupled to the sleeve for urging the first end of the spring bar towards the second end of the spring bar. The second end of the spring bar is coupled to the second lug, the spring bar is coupled to the strap, the first end of the spring bar is positioned in the inner cavity of the sleeve and the first end of the sleeve is coupled to the first lug. A removable retractor for use with a spring bar, which allows for the use of a plurality of spring bars and therefore, lends itself to widespread use and retrofitting of an assembly that couples a strap to a wristworn device, is also provided.

HINGE ASSEMBLY
A hinge assembly (15) comprises a first part (12) having a first hinge member (16), and a second part (14) having a second hinge member (18). The first and first and second hinge members (16, 18) form a pivot arrangement (20) to allow the first part (12) to pivot relative to the second part (14). A hinge pin (22) extends across the pivot arrangement (20), thereby pivotally attaching the first part (12) to the second part (14). The hinge pin (22) and the pivot arrangement (20) include a securing arrangement (26) to inhibit extraction of the hinge pin (22) from the pivot arrangement (20).
VEHICLE HINGE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A HINGE HALF FOR A VEHICLE HINGE
A vehicle hinge, in particular for use for pivotable vehicle hinged closure elements, includes a first hinge half (2) having at least one first hinge half part (3); a second hinge half (10); and a hinge pin (18), which connects the first hinge half (2) and the second hinge half (10) in an articulated manner. The hinge pin (18) is mounted in an articulated manner in one of the first hinge half (2) and the second hinge half (10) and can be fastened in a rotational fixed manner to the other of the first hinge half (2) and the second hinge half (10). A retaining ring (21) penetrated by a retaining portion of the hinge pin (18) is arranged between the first hinge half (2) and the second hinge half (10). The retaining ring (21) is fastened, by a central hole, on the retaining portion of the hinge pin (18) by a press fit.
Systems and methods for co-printed or concurrently assembled hinge structures
Systems and methods of co-printing a unitary hinge are provided. The unitary hinge may be co-printed using an additive manufacturing process. The unitary hinge includes a hinge pin that is substantially cylindrical in shape. The unitary hinge also includes a knuckle which surrounds a portion of the hinge pin and is configured to be manipulated about the hinge pin. The hinge pin is fabricated in situ with the knuckle such that further assembly is unnecessary. The unitary hinge may also include retention mechanism to retain the hinge within the knuckle without substantially restricting the knuckle from being rotated about the hinge pin. The unitary hinge may further be configured with a fluid port which may, for example, be used to provide a lubricant to an area between the hinge pin and the knuckle or to vacuum powder material or debris from the area.

AUTOMOTIVE LIFT-OFF HINGE WITH INTEGRATED DOOR CHECK
An automotive lift-off hinge joint to rotationally connect an automotive door and body comprises first and second door side hinge brackets and a body side hinge bracket. A detent shaft is provided with an interiorly threaded intermediate portion adapted to receive a removable threaded fastener and with a shaped detent shaft feature adapted to engage a similarly shaped pyramidal portion of a guide pin fastened to the body side hinge bracket. The detent shaft is rotationally mounted within a cylindrical check mechanism and secured in relation to the first and second door side hinge brackets. Bushings in door side hinge bracket apertures allow rotation of portions of the detent shaft extending through the apertures. The pyramidal shaped portions are preferably square.
