Combination vehicle door guide and protector
A combination door guide and protector can be used to safely and easily attach or remove vehicle doors. A set of two guides can be used for each door. Each guide can include a forward curved portion and a second curved portion that extend outwardly away from a body and form a groove. Each guide also includes a crenellated void. A body can connect the two guides and can extend away from each side of the curved portions to provide protection to the vehicle frame and body. The crenellated voids can be placed on top of weldments of hinge pin receivers located on the vehicle body frame. Hinge pin housings on the vehicle door can be slid within the groove until hinge pins on the door engage with the hinge pin receivers. The combination device makes it easier to align the hinge pins with hinge pin receivers.
HINGE ASSEMBLY FOR AN APPLIANCE LID AND INSTALLATION METHOD THEREFOR
A laundry appliance includes a cabinet having a top panel that defines an aperture for selectively accessing a treatment chamber defined within the cabinet. A lid is rotationally operable relative to the aperture of the top panel between open and closed positions. Hinge assemblies extend between the lid and the top panel. The hinge assemblies include a first hinge assembly. A second hinge assembly is selectively retractable into the lid to a retracted position. A biasing member biases the second hinge assembly out to an extended position. At least the second hinge assembly is operable to the retracted position to bypass a portion of the top panel to define an installed position where the first and second hinge assemblies are engaged with respective hinge receptacles of the top panel.
Dual-part hinge assembly
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a dual-part hinge assembly for a portable electronic device. According to one embodiment, the portable computing device includes a display and a base housing connected via the dual-part hinge assembly. Furthermore, the dual-part hinge assembly comprises a first portion and a second portion that extends behind the first portion when the display transitions to an open position so as to provide stability for the computing device.
Refrigerated food preparation table and hinge bracket for holding lid partially or fully open
A refrigerated food preparation table that includes a food item storage pan with a lid that is allowed to fully close and is held in a partially open position and in a fully open position and hinge brackets or apparatuses for holding a lid in a partially opened position and a fully opened position that include a slot, a surface, and an indentation that each engage pins on the lid. In various embodiments, the slot receives one such pin, the surface guides another pin on the lid as the lid is opened from a fully closed position to the partially opened position, the indentation receives the second pin when the lid is in the partially opened position, and the slot contains the first pin and the second pin when the lid is fully open. The food preparation table can be used to prepare pizza, for example.

In-situ door removal device in a dishwashing appliance
A dishwasher door hinge assembly and spring linkage device is disclosed that enables the spring linkage to be removed from the hinge while the door remains attached to the hinge assembly and to the appliance. This provides in-situ removal of the door from the appliance without requiring the unit to be removed from the cabinet. Both the hinge and the spring linkage have geometry that allow for separation while the appliance remains mounted in final installed state (in-situ).
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING A PIVOT GUIDE IN A DOOR SECTION OF A BIFOLD DOOR
An apparatus and method for installing a pivot guide in a door section of a bifold door, the pivot guide including a base, a flange at an upper region of the base, a pin extending into the base, and a top part connected to the pin wherein the apparatus includes: an upper part; a lower part; and a middle part connecting the upper part to the lower part; the lower part has a notch, and during the installing of the pivot guide into the door section, the notch is positioned between the flange and the top part of the pivot guide, and after a force is applied onto the upper part, the force is transferred from the upper part to the lower part through the middle part and onto the flange to push the base into the opening in the door section.

Continuous locking hinge assemblies and folding door assemblies including the same
A continuous hinge includes first and second leaves, an upper pivot, and a lower pivot. The first leaf is configured to secure to a first panel and the second leaf is configured to secure to a second panel. The first and second leaves each have an uppermost end adjacent a top end of the respective panel and a lowermost end adjacent a bottom end of the respective panel. The upper pivot is formed between the first and second leaves adjacent the uppermost ends thereof. The lower pivot is formed between the first and second leaves adjacent the lowermost ends thereof. The first and second leaves are configured to pivot relative to one another between a closed position in which the first and second panels are aligned on edges with one another and an open position in which the first and second panels are out of alignment with one another.
