REINFORCED FOLDING DOOR AND HINGE ASSEMBLY
An accordion type folding door system having a plurality of elongated panels hinged together along their longitudinal side edges into a pleated or zig zag arrangement, the folding panels being interconnected by a hinge assembly. The hinge assembly is disposed between and interconnects a pair of adjacent panels, each of the pair of interconnected adjacent panels including a side edge having longitudinal groove and an extension flange, wherein the hinge assembly includes a hinge pin and a plurality of hinge knuckles disposed vertically end-to-end in alternating arrangement on the hinge pin, the hinge knuckle having a tubular central opening for accepting the hinge pin, an outwardly extending tongue for connecting to a corresponding longitudinal groove in an adjacent panel in a tongue and groove connection, and an outwardly flared wedge that extends beyond the extension flanges of the panels, whereby the wedge cooperates with the extension flanges to limit angular folding extension to a maximum desired angle.
Optical connectors disposed on hinge interface
Disclosed are optical connectors for electronic devices that are disposed at a hinge of the device. The electronic device has an optical connector comprising a base portion having a hinge with a hinge attachment structure and a base connector having one or more base optical channels, and a display. The display comprising a display attachment structure and a display connector having one or more display optical channels for mating with the base connector. The concepts disclosed allow an optical connection for electronic devices having a display that is separable from a base portion.
Enclosure having ribbed stanchions
An enclosure having identical ribbed stanchions and panels, and a gate which may be pivotably hung from the stanchions such that it swings in either direction, and may be opened from either side, depending on the assembly of the enclosure, is described. This enables the enclosure to be assembled and disassembled without having to identify the supporting members and without having to purchase right- and left-handed gates. A latch which may be opened from both inside and outside of the enclosure is also described.
Adjustable safety panel connector
An adjustable panel connector (100, 300) for interconnecting two mesh panels (105) of a barricade and/or guarding system. The adjustable panel connector (100, 300) comprises a first body element (102, 302) including at least one first panel fastening arrangement (106, 108, 311); a second body element (104, 304) including at least one second panel fastening arrangement (106, 108, 311), the first body element (102, 302) and the second body element (104, 304) being interconnected along and about a connection axis (X-X, Y-Y); and a pivot locking arrangement (110, 301) configured to lock the first body element (102, 302) at a selected angle relative to the second body element (104, 304) about the connection axis (X-X, Y-Y).

BREAKAWAY GATE ASSEMBLY, AND RELATED COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
A breakaway gate assembly includes a hinge subassembly rotatably mounted to a vertical hinge post, and a gate subassembly removably mounted to the hinge subassembly. The gate subassembly includes a gate body and a plurality of standoff features coupled thereto. The hinge subassembly comprises a vertical mounting plate forming a plurality of apertures configured to receive and secure a respective plurality of standoff features. Each of the plurality of apertures comprises a wide portion for receiving a head portion of one of the standoff features, and a narrow portion below the wide portion for receiving a stem portion of a respective standoff feature to position a portion of the vertical mounting plate between the vertical mounting surface and the respective bearing surface. The hinge subassembly also comprises a plurality of hinge rings coupled to the first plate surface, the plurality of hinge rings rotatably disposed around the vertical hinge post.
