A pivoting mechanism for a spring hinge includes a pin and at least one cap assembly. The pin defines an axial direction and is configured to be disposed through a barrel portion of the spring hinge. The at least one cap assembly is disposed on an end of the pin and includes a cap body, a restricting member and an engaging member. The cap body includes a first abutting wall lateral to the axial direction, a first circumferential wall extending around the axial direction and connected with the first abutting wall and a groove recessed on an inner surface of the first circumferential wall. The restricting member is embedded within the groove and radially protrudes beyond the inner surface. The engaging member surrounds the pin and is disposed between the restricting member and the first abutting wall.

A hinge for coupling a movable element to a frame that defines an opening that receives the movable element. The hinge includes a frame interface assembly adapted to attach to the frame at one or more attachment points. The frame interface assembly includes a frame leaf and a sealing member, the frame leaf defines a mounting face adapted to abut an exterior surface of the frame and a plurality of spaced apart knuckles. The sealing member defines an attachment point liquid barrier sealing face abutting an interior surface of the frame opposite the mounting face. The hinge further includes a sash leaf adapted to attach to the window sash, with the sash leaf defining one or more knuckles, and a pin assembly including a hinge pin extending through the knuckles of the frame leaf and the knuckles of the sash leaf to couple the frame leaf and the sash leaf.

A vehicle window assembly includes a body structure, a hinge structure, and a covering panel. The hinge structure includes a hinge base and a hinge cover, the hinge base including an attachment portion attached to an upper portion of the body structure, a cover mounting portion, and a loop support portion extending from the attachment portion to the cover mounting portion, the hinge cover being attached to the cover mounting portion. The covering panel includes a hanging loop with a hanging section disposed between the loop support portion of the hinge base and the hinge cover, and is movable between a secured position in which the hanging section of the hanging loop is positioned adjacent the attachment portion of the hinge base, and an unsecured position in which the hanging section of the hanging loop is disposed adjacent the cover mounting portion of the hinge base.
