Flight deck security pocket door decompression venting and crew escape system
A locking mechanism for a door panel to be positioned within and out of blocking relationship with an opening. Mechanism includes a deadbolt rotatably connected to the wall and having a curved configuration and a locking bracket connected to the door panel. The locking bracket extends from the door panel in an angular direction with respect to a plane of door panel. With door panel in a closed position and deadbolt in a first position, the locking bracket extends through the curved configuration. Deadbolt is in blocking relationship with the locking bracket in a direction along a plane of the door panel and is not in blocking relationship in a direction along the locking bracket. With door panel in closed position, deadbolt is in a second position not in blocking relationship with the locking bracket permitting door panel to move in a direction along a plane of the door panel.
Enhanced hinge and method for pivotally and removably connecting a member with a structure
An enhanced hinge and method pivotally and removably connects a member from a structure. In one example, the hinge and method retains the member using a first hinge piece coupled to the structure and a second hinge piece coupled to the member. The first and second hinge pieces may be configured such that the second hinge piece is retained inside the first hinge piece in a closed position and is not free to be decoupled from the first hinge piece but is free to pivot to an open position at the closed position. At the open position the second hinge piece is inverted as compared to its position in the closed position, is free to pass through the first hinge piece and is free to be decoupled from the first hinge piece.
Hinge
A hinge can be used between two structures to allow the structures to be quickly and easily folded and unfolded. The hinge has a first portion connected to a structure and a second portion connected to a structure. The first and second portions are also connected to one another. A latch is connected to one of the portions. The latch is biased towards a locked position such that when the hinge is unfolded, the hinge is prevented from being folded.
Lock and aircraft landing gear assembly
A mechanical lock for a vehicle assembly such as an aircraft landing gear assembly. The lock is either pivotally mounted and substantially mass balanced, or part of an aircraft landing gear assembly and arranged to be mechanically operated from the ground by a mechanical actuation device.
OPENING SYSTEM FOR A DOOR
An opening system for a cowling access door, to a cowling access door with such an opening system for a cowling of an aircraft, to an aircraft comprising such a cowling access door, and to a method of operating such an opening system. The opening system may include an overcentering latch that automatically latches in the over-centered state to prevent the cowling access door from returning to the closed position, and a release system that is coupled to the overcentering latch and adapted for transitioning the overcentering latch from the over-centered state to an unclamped state. The opening system further includes a remote actuator that is located spaced apart from the release system and adapted for remotely actuating the release system.
Hinge mechanisms and foldable furniture
Embodiments generally relate to hinge mechanisms. Many of the hinge mechanism embodiments may be used in foldable furniture. The foldable furniture may be a foldable seat or table. The hinge mechanism may include a central cylinder with a body defining a hinge axis. The central cylinder may have rotate channel(s) transverse to the hinge axis and locking channels extending axially from the rotate channel(s). Collar(s) may couple with the central cylinder and may include pin(s) that protrude inwardly into the rotate channel(s) and locking channel(s) of the central cylinder. In some embodiments, an intermediate cylinder may be disposed between the central cylinder and the collar(s). The intermediate cylinder may have slots corresponding to the rotate channel(s) of the central cylinder. When pin(s) and locking channel(s) are aligned, the central lock cylinder may move axially to lock the collars in a desired angular position (e.g., a deployed or folded configuration).
Mechanism for mounting of a hinged car door
A mechanism for mounting of a hinged car door, comprising a stabilizing frame (1) attached to a vehicle frame (15). The stabilizing frame (1) is equipped, in its lower part, with a lock (6) for stabilizing a bracket (3) of a door (14) and, in its upper part, the stabilizing frame (1) is equipped with a toothed pinion (5) and at least one guiding roller (4), whereas a toothed arm (2) is arranged between the toothed pinion (5) and the guiding roller (4), and the bracket (3) of the door (14) is swing attached to the toothed arm (2), whereas the door (14) is attached to the bracket (3) of the door (14) by means of pins (13) of the door (14).
KITCHEN FURNITURE ITEM HAVING A SPECIAL CLOSURE ELEMENT
The invention relates to a kitchen furniture item having a carcass and an interior at least partially enclosed by the carcass, wherein the interior has a front-side access opening which is covered by means of a plate-shaped closure element (21, 22) which lies in a front plane of the carcass and can be reversibly opened and closed by a user, wherein the closure element has a plate-shaped pivoting part (21) and a likewise plate-shaped pulling part (22), and wherein a horizontal edge of the pivoting part (21) runs along a horizontal edge of the pulling part (22), and the parts are connected to one another at these common edges in such a way that, in order to open a first portion of the interior, the pivoting part (21) can be pivoted about a horizontal axis such that it bears against the front side of the pulling part (22).
HINGE LOCKING DEVICE
A hinge locking device for a door includes a mounting plate defining an upper plate end and a lower plate end, a plate slot extending into the mounting plate at the lower plate end, the plate slot configured to receive a hinge plate of a door hinge assembly therethrough; a reinforcement gusset affixed to the mounting plate and defining a gusset recess aligned with the plate slot; and a barrel channel defined between the gusset recess and the mounting plate, the plate slot allowing lateral access to the barrel channel, the barrel channel configured to receive a hinge barrel of the door hinge assembly.
DOOR OPENING/CLOSING APPARATUS AND HINGE
A door opening/closing apparatus is provided which can expand storage space in a main body. A door opening/closing apparatus includes at least two hinges, and a connecting bar that is connected to the at least two hinges. Each hinge includes a main body-side member, a door-side member, a main arm, a first link, and a second link, and causes a door to move parallel to itself between a closed position and an open position. The main arm includes a bent portion. The connecting bar is mounted on a door side of the main arm. A center of the connecting bar in a width direction thereof is placed on a second shaft side relative to a center between a first shaft and the second shaft of the main arm in a front view of the door in a state where the door is in the closed position.
