A sensor apparatus for a movable barrier system having a rotatable drum and an elongate member that winds up on and pays out from an external surface of the rotatable drum. The sensor apparatus includes a base portion, a sensing portion, and a controller. The sensing portion senses a first spaced apart proximity of the elongate member relative to the sensing portion and a second spaced apart proximity of the elongate member relative to the sensing portion. The controller detects a change in the proximity of the elongate member relative to the sensing portion without the elongate member contacting the sensing portion.

The present disclosure is directed to overhead door assemblies and operating systems. Disclosed herein is a drive drum that is compatible across a variety of overhead door types, including, for example, standard lift doors, vertical lift doors, and high lift doors. The drive drum of the present disclosure comprises a first cable groove section and a second cable groove section, opposite the first cable groove section, wherein at least one of the first cable groove section or the second cable groove section is in a non-linear graduated arrangement.

A door operator system (1) for opening and closing an opening (2), comprising a door frame (3) comprising a first frame section (4) at a first side (5) of the opening (2) and a second frame section (6) at a second side (7) of the opening (2) and a door (8) arranged to be moved between an open (O) and closed (C) position. The door (8) is connected to the door frame (3). A drive unit (10) mounted on the door (8), whereby the drive unit (10) is moveably connected to first frame section (4) and the drive unit (10) is moveably connected to the second frame section (6), the drive unit (10) comprising at least one motor (11) connected to at least one energy storage device (12) arranged to power the at least one motor (11), the drive unit (10) being arranged to move the door (8) from the closed position (C) to the open position (O). The door operator system (1) further comprises an energy transmitting device (13, 14) disposed in close proximity to the door (8) and an energy receiving device (81) mounted on the door (8), whereby the energy transmitting device (13, 14) is configured to wirelessly transmit energy to the energy receiving device (81) mounted to the door (8), whereby the energy receiving device (81) is operatively connected to the at least one energy storage device (12) for charging said energy storage device (12).

The end cap includes a body portion comprising a top end, a bottom end, a front side, a back side, an inner side, and an outer side, a plurality of openings aligned between the inner side and the outer side to receive a mechanical fastener to connect to an end of the panel, a cam lever coupled to the top end, wherein the cam lever is to rotate around an axis to generate a lift force to lift and separate an adjacent panel, and a plurality of wheels coupled to the inner side, wherein the panel moves along a horizontal track via the plurality of wheels aligned with the horizontal track.

A pet door system is provided including a casing configured to attach the pet door system to a building and a flexible door attached to the casing. In some embodiments, the door is segmented and comprises a plurality of interlocking segments that are rotatable with respect to each other. In some embodiments, the pet door system further includes a rotating cylinder attached to the flexible door and rotatably connected to the casing and a motor comprising a gear head, where the gear head is attached to the rotating cylinder, such that when the motor is activated, the gear head is rotatable in a first direction to wind the flexible door around the rotating cylinder. In some embodiments, the pet door system may be operated by a pet-worn collar and/or may be remotely controlled via a mobile device.

A pet door system is provided including a casing configured to attach the pet door system to a building and a flexible door attached to the casing. An adapter bracket for attaching a vertical garage door brace to a garage door has a base plate with an upper tab and a lower tab. A left and right side wing stick out from the sides of the base plate. The side wings bend forward to form left and right forward tabs. The tabs each have a 0.38 inch diameter hole in them to receive a standard size mounting bolt. The bolt is the same size bolt used to attach the garage door brace to hollow door hinges. If the hinges are not hollow, then the hinges are removed when a strong wind is anticipated. The adapter brackets then replace the hinges so that the standard bolt can be used to attach the brace to the door.

Steel garage door decorations made out of powder coated aluminum. The decorations include a decorative hinge, a decorative barn door handle, a decorative knocker assembly and a decorative clavo. Each of the garage door decorations is made out of powder coated aluminum and retains at least one concealed permanent magnet by which the decoration is temporarily affixed to a garage door panel. Each decoration also contains at least one recess where adhesive can be applied after the proper orientation and location of each respective garage door decoration have been finalized.

Further disclosed is an improved roller wheel having a tire made of material selected from the group consisting of urethane and urethane (PER) on which the roller will roll within a garage door track to significantly reduce the noise of the roller as it rolls inside the garage door tracks as the garage door is raised and lowered. The roller shaft has the treads extending to a distal end of the roller shaft where a plastic washer and a closing cover nut with interior threads are threaded onto the distal end of the roller shaft. The closing cover nut with interior threads is selected from an acorn nut with a nylon insert and a hex lock nut with a nylon insert.
