ITEM OF FURNITURE
A piece of furniture includes a furniture body with an upper floor, a flap, and least one flap fitting arranged on the upper floor in order to hold the flap movably between a position closing a storage space of the furniture body and an opening position. The flap fitting includes a housing, on which a support arm is rotatably mounted, which includes a retaining element for fixing the flap, and an energy store for applying a force to the support arm. A damper is provided for braking a movement of the support arm in the closing direction shortly before the closing position is reached. The damper can be moved via an actuating element mounted in the housing and the support arm can be braked via the actuating element when the flap is moved in the closing direction shortly before reaching the closing position.
FLAP FITTING AND ITEM OF FURNITURE
A flap fitting includes a housing, on which a support arm is rotatably mounted, which includes a retaining element for fixing a flap, and an energy store, by means of which the support arm can be pre-tensioned in a rotational direction. The support arm is articulated to a drive lever which is articulated to a deflection lever, and the energy store is connected to an adjustable connection on the deflection lever via an articulation element. This allows the flap fitting to be flexibly adapted to the weight of a flap.
Hydraulic leveraged overhead door assembly
The present invention is a door assembly including a rectangular door frame, a bi-fold door pivotally mounted at the top of the rectangular door frame and at least one hydraulic cylinder assembly. The hydraulic cylinder assembly is pivotally secured by a first end to a cylinder support mounted on a back side of the door frame, and by a second lower end to a cylinder support secured to a back surface of a top panel of the bi-fold door. In the door closed position, the longitudinal axis of the cylinder is oriented at an acute angle away from a plane defined by the door pivot axis and the lower pivot axis of the cylinder. A hydraulic control assembly controls movement of the door between an open and closed position.
BI-FOLD DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY
A latch assembly connected to the drive unit of a bi-fold door for retaining the bi-fold door secure to a building has elongated straps attached to rotatable latch drums mounted on the outer ends of the drive shaft of the drive unit. Lift drums powered by a motor driven gearbox raise and lower the bi-fold door. Latch assemblies having springs attached to the straps maintain tension on the straps during the opening and closing of the bi-fold door.
Foldable ventilated garage door panel
A panel in an overhead door system having a rigid outer frame with an aperture therethrough dimensioned to receive a plurality of movable, foldable horizontally hinged sub-panels dimensioned to fit within confines of the aperture of such outer frame when closed and a plurality of movable, foldable horizontally hinged sub-panels dimensioned to fit within the confines of the aperture of such outer frame when closed, said sub-panels being an upper sub-panel, a first sub-panel, a second sub-panel and a lower sub-panel, the upper sub-panel coupled along its lower horizontal edge to the top horizontal edge of the first sub-panel, the first sub-panel being coupled along its lower horizontal edge to the top horizontal edge of the second subpanel, and the lower horizontal edge of the second subpanel being coupled to the top horizontal edge of the lower sub-panel and including a pin, roller or track system.
Bi-fold overhead door with concealed hydraulic cylinder
A bi-fold overhead door system including a door frame, an overhead door and a hydraulic cylinder. The frame and the overhead door have corresponding slots formed therein. A top member of the door is pivotally mounted to the door frame. The hydraulic cylinder includes a first cylinder end and a second cylinder end. The first cylinder end is operably attached to the frame. The second cylinder end is operably attached to the overhead door. The hydraulic cylinder is capable of moving the overhead door between a closed configuration and an open configuration. When the door is in the closed configuration, the hydraulic cylinder is substantially recessed within the frame and door slots.
ENCLOSURE CONFIGURATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Methods and systems (e.g. as kits, installations, or other protocols) are described in relation to lockable hinges for use in panelized enclosures. A system includes a plurality of purpose-built lockable hinges each configured to connect two adjacent panels. When the hinges are in a locked state the adjacent panels may move along a track together. In an unlocked state the panels may move toward or away from each other along the track. The method may include kit installation or otherwise controlling the selective movement of door panels, such as for turning a fenced and ventilated enclosure into a structure with a retractable door that (externally and superficially) seems conventional.
Stabilization roller bracket for long roller stems of a movable barrier
A stabilization roller bracket is positioned adjacent to a hinge and supplements a hinge in coupling a roller to a movable barrier. The stabilization roller bracket includes a base configured to be coupled to an inner surface of the movable barrier. The base includes a main body and a frangible portion. The stabilization roller bracket also includes at least one wall extending from the base and including a plurality of stem-receiving holes, each of the plurality of stem-receiving holes spaced a different distance from the base and configured to receive a portion of a stem of a roller for the movable barrier and space the roller from the inner surface of the movable barrier.
