Articulating expandable barrier
Provided is an adjustable barrier having a central hinge having a cylindrical post and an axis of rotation; a first expandable section coupled to the cylindrical post of the central hinge by at least a first connector; and a second expandable section coupled to the cylindrical post of the central hinge by at least a second connector. At least one of the first and second expandable sections is configured to articulate around the axis of rotation of the central hinge forming an articulation angle between the first and second expandable sections.
Hinged rail for barrier operators
A movable barrier system wherein the trolley system comprises at least two guiding rail portions. At least one of the guiding rail portions is supported by a support member secured to the headroom area of the building support structure. The trolley traverses the at least two guiding rail portions by a hinged coupling device.
GARAGE DOOR CARRIER SYSTEM
A garage door carrier system carries an overhead garage door between a closed position blocking entry of a vehicle into a garage, and an open position allowing entry of the vehicle into the garage. The garage door is in rolling engagement with a track that guides the garage door. A lever, rotating about a pivot, has a counterweight at a first end and is rotatably connected to the garage door at a second opposite load end. The counterweight provides in-force at the first end that translates as out-force at the load end as the lever rotates about the pivot to carry the garage door between the closed position and the open position.
Tilt-up door
A tilt-up door for a building having an opening including a door frame with vertical track members, cam surfaces extending laterally from the vertical tracks at the upper portion of the tracks and a door sized to span the opening. The door can be pivotally coupled with rollers disposed within the vertical tracks and cam followers extending laterally from the upper portion of the door to contact the cam surfaces. When an upwardly directed motive force acts on the door the cam followers come into engagement with the cam surface to lift the door generally vertically and then rotate the door inwardly as the door is raised into an open raised position.

Gate having an insulating curtain
A door, in particular a roll-up door, having a curtain that can be moved between a closed position in which it is arranged, at least in sections, approximately in a plane and an open position in which it is wound, preferably at least in sections, on a winding shaft, said curtain having at least one thermally insulating region such as an insulating body, preferably made of PE form. The insulating region is formed by a pocket bordered at least partially by strip-shaped, deformable reinforcing layers, in particular made of plastics, particularly preferably made of PVC.

BARRIER OPERATOR MECHANICAL TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY
A mechanical transmission system is provided for a barrier operator system for positioning a garage door between open and closed positions. The transmission system includes a rail having a channel to receive a drive sprocket and a return pulley. A drive element is trained around the drive sprocket and return pulley. The system further includes a tensioning system disposed within the channel and includes a return pulley support member and a bracket disposed on an end of the rail for supporting the return pulley support member. In addition, an adjusting screw is interfaced with and extends between the return pulley support member and the bracket, the adjusting screw movable to adjust the position of the return pulley support member relative to the bracket to increase or decrease the tension of the drive element.

Earthquake resisting door
An earthquake resisting door has locking mechanisms between the door panel top, sides, and the bottom foundation. Included are self-contained limited uplift resisting end posts, one or more door panels made of wood, steel, or other suitable material that can act as a shear wall or brace frame, and segmented door panels that can be designed for roll-up or folding. The segments interlock to create one solid wall or arrangement of segments that creates brace frame action. An inter-locking mechanism engages adjacent door leaves in a casement arrangement and creates one panel.
