DRIVE DEVICE FOR A CLOSURE ELEMENT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
A drive apparatus for a closure element of a motor vehicle, including a tube defining an axis, a spindle disposed within the tube and configured to translate along the axis from an extended position to a first retracted position and a second retracted position, a spindle nut disposed within the tube and operatively engaged to the spindle, a stop nut fixed to the spindle, and a damping element disposed between the spindle nut and the stop nut. The tube defines a first end stop face and the stop nut defines a second end stop face, and when the spindle is in the first retracted position, the damping element engages the first end stop face and is spaced apart from the stop nut.
FIXED BIN HINGE SYSTEM
A hinge assembly for an aircraft overhead storage bin that includes a housing having a hinge space and a hinge opening defined therein, an arm pivotably connected to the housing within the hinge space, and a dampener. The hinge opening communicates the hinge space with an exterior of the housing. The arm is pivotable between a closed position and an open position and extends through the hinge opening such that the first end of the arm is positioned outside of the housing. The dampener includes first and second ends. The first end is connected to the housing and the second end is connected to the arm. The dampener biases the arm from the closed position to the open position.
CABINET AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME, AND AIRCRAFT INCLUDING A CABINET
Cabinets, methods for making cabinets, and aircraft including cabinets are provided. In one example, a cabinet includes a cabinet body that at least partially surrounds a cabinet space and that defines a cabinet opening that allows access to the cabinet space. A cabinet door at least partially covers the cabinet opening when in a closed position and extends upward from a lower edge portion to an upper edge portion. The cabinet door has an outer exposed surface facing generally in a first direction away from the cabinet space when in the closed position. The cabinet door is operatively coupled to the cabinet body for opening from the closed position to an open position including the lower edge portion moving generally upward and the upper edge portion moving generally upward and towards the first direction to expose the cabinet opening.
Door control system
The door control system includes a baseplate configured to interface with a surface adjacent to a door. The baseplate is removeably fastened to the surface oriented above to the door. The system includes at least one door ram coupled to the baseplate. The door ram includes a ram arm. The ram arm is configured to extend or retract from the door ram. The system includes at least one door actuator coupled to the baseplate. The at least one door actuator comprises an actuator arm. The actuator arm is configured to extend or retract from the door actuator. The door control system comprises at least one biasing device coupled to the baseplate and the at least one door actuator. The door control system also includes a controller in communication with the at least one door ram and the at least one door actuator configured to actuate an opening motion or a closing motion by the at least one door ram and the at least one door actuator.
MOTORIZED ACTUATOR AND MOVABLE BARRIER PROVIDED WITH SAID ACTUATOR, PARTICULARLY SUITABLE FOR AUXILIARY OR EMERGENCY DRIVES
The motorized drive according to the application is particularly suitable for auxiliary or emergency drives and is configured to open or close a wing of a barrier such as a door. The motorized drive includes a motor and a reduction unit through which the motor can open or close the wing, an auxiliary motor including a helical spring which is able to absorb mechanical energy during the opening of the wing and release it during the closing of the same, a reduction unit connecting the auxiliary motor to the wing. A first and a second toothed profile realize a gear with a variable transmission ratio. The first and/or the second toothed profile form at least one toothing having a pitch profile which is substantially non-circular or not formed by a simple arc of a circle or a straight line.
Cam type door closer
A cam type door closer includes a housing, a first piston set mounted in one side of the housing, a second piston set mounted in the other side of the housing, which includes a second piston movably mounted in a shaft hole of a first piston of the first piston set, a gap compensation device mounted in the second piston, a second spring having one end thereof stopped against the second piston and a security and sealing cap mounted in the housing to stop the other end of the second spring, and a drive shaft assembly rotatably mounted in a longitudinal passage of housing, which includes a shaft and an eccentric cam mounted on the shaft with one side thereof stopped against a roller of the first piston set and an opposite side thereof stopped against the second piston.
ANTI-FLOAT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A movable wall system includes a plurality of movable wall panels including a first movable wall panel and a second moveable wall panel rotatably coupled together through at least one hinge. The movable wall system further includes a biasing system which biases the first movable wall panel and the second movable wall panel into an arrangement wherein a panel face of the first movable wall panel and a panel face of the second moveable wall panel are generally parallel.
Dampening translator for sliding building closure
A dampening translator for a sliding building closure comprising a housing having a longitudinal axis and a traveler track with a longitudinally extending portion having a first end. A traveler is carried by the housing and includes a body carrying track followers carried in the traveler track of the housing, and carrying longitudinally spaced walls extending away from the body and establishing a catch space therebetween. A retractor is carried by the housing and has a housing portion coupled to the housing and a traveler portion coupled to the traveler to bias the traveler in a direction toward the first end of the traveler track. A dampener is carried by the housing to decelerate the traveler.
OPENING AND CLOSING BODY CONTROL APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
