DAMPER DEVICE FOR GLOVE COMPARTMENT
There is provided a damper device for a glove compartment has a housing, a damping unit, a rack member and a gear. An insertion hole is formed through a bottom surface of the housing. The damping unit has a case which is fixed to the housing, and a rotation shaft which extends into an inside of the housing. The rack member is removably installed to the housing and is movable back and forth with respect to the housing. The gear is removably coupled to the rotation shaft through the insertion hole of the housing and meshes with the rack member. The case has a boss which protrudes into the housing and is received in the inside of the housing. The gear has a non-gear portion which is inserted to the insertion hole, and a flange which is in contact with the bottom surface of the housing.
Adjustable hood-stop for a motor vehicle
An adjustable hood-stop unit for a front-end bolster of a motor vehicle is disclosed. The adjustable hood-stop includes a bumper stop, a retainer made of a plastic material that receives the bumper stop, and a plurality of threads integrated along an internal surface of the retainer. The retainer is over-molded onto a hole in the front-end bolster, the plurality of threads extend on a partial length of the internal surface of the retainer at a predetermined rotation degree, and the plurality of threads are discontinued.

A hinge assembly for a trunk lid, includes: a hinge bracket attached to a trunk compartment; a hinge arm attached to a trunk lid and pivotally connected to the hinge bracket; and a damping mechanism disposed between the hinge bracket and the hinge arm, and damping a pivoting movement of the hinge arm, where the hinge arm has a hollow portion in which the damping mechanism is received.

Bump stop for vehicle hood
An apparatus, according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a hood inner panel having a rear edge and a front edge, a latch mounted to the hood inner panel at an offset location that is spaced from the front edge, and at least one bump stop mounted to the hood inner panel between the offset location and the front edge. The bump stop includes a lock feature to prevent removal of the bump stop from the hood inner panel. A method according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, mounting at least one resilient bump stop to the hood inner panel between the offset location and the front edge to absorb impact energy and to provide a seal force to stabilize the latch during closure.
AUTOMATIC BUMP STOP ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure relates to a bump stop assembly that includes a housing, a stopper, and a biasing device. The stopper is moveable relative to the housing and includes a head, a shaft extending from the head, and a plurality of recesses distributed along the shaft. The biasing device is disposed within the housing, and is operable to engage and disengage with at least one recess based on a load exerted on the stopper.
