Closure member stop and associated kit
A closure member (e.g., door) stop includes a base having a top portion opposite a bottom portion, the bottom portion being configured for affixing to an installation point associated with the closure member, a flexure extending away from the top portion, a cushion comprising an angled face and an impact face, the impact face being configured to interface with the closure member during closing of the closure member, and the angled face being configured to interface with the closure member during opening of the closure member. The flexure provides an operable, bendable connection between the cushion and the base. Also, a lever is operably connected to the cushion and the flexure and configured to move the cushion away from a swing path of the closure member. The cushion extends into a swing path of the closure member when the closure member stop is at rest in the installed position.
Shock Absorber Device for Protecting a Door and Door Frame
A door protector shock absorbing device including two integrated components featuring a fixed component made of generally rectilinear metal sheet having a one or more grooves disposed therein, the fixed component is fastened to a door frame using one or more screw fasteners fastened transversely through the grooves. A movable component is connected to the fixed component using a hinge along an edge of the fixed component, the movable component has an elastomeric member. The movable component is designed to move more than 180-degrees relative to the fixed component such that the elastomeric member is positioned along a corner of the door frame wherein the door strikes the elastomeric member/device when slammed shut, thereby the elastomeric member/device prevents direct contact of the door and the door frame. The movable component is moved towards the fixed component when the device is not operational.

No slam door guard and method of use thereof
A guard for and method of preventing household doors from slamming shut when excessive force is used while closing is disclosed. The guard includes a padded body and an attachment mechanism for hanging the guard from a door knob in a manner that allows the guard to swing freely with respect to the door knob. In some embodiments, the guard can include certain electronics to indicate and/or store door slam events.
Door Operator Having Lock Mechanism
A door operator comprises a rotary shaft, a chain disk for rotating the rotary shaft, and a locking mechanism for locking the rotary shaft. The locking mechanism comprises a bidirectional rotary block, a plurality of push pins and anti-rotation posts. When the chain disk rotates, the push pins urge the bidirectional rotary block to rotate the rotary shaft, and when the rotary shaft rotates, the of anti-rotation posts lock the bidirectional rotary block, and preclude the rotary shaft from rotating.
Doorjamb safety system and method
A doorjamb safety system, device and method for utilization in holding open a door, and preferably an automatically closing door. The system can include a handle unit, a wedge unit slidably associated with handle unit, and a chock unit attachable with the handle unit and slidably associated with the edge unit. The chock unit includes a triangularly shaped chock and a shaft including multiple locking holes. The wedge unit includes a button that is engageable with the locking holes to lock the chock in a space apart relation with wedge sides of the wedge unit. The chock unit is rotatable allowing for insertion into a doorjamb, while the spacing between the chock and the wedge sides is adjustable to clamp a corner of a door frame and a door therebetween. The handle unit can include an electronic device such as a light.

Door Stop Apparatus for Hinge Mounted Doors
A door stop apparatus for limiting opening movement of a hinge mounted door is disclosed. The door stop apparatus may comprise a body member comprising a first end surface and a second end surface opposite and parallel to the first end surface. The body member may also comprise a through-opening extending between the first end surface and the second end surface, wherein the through-opening is configured to receive the hinge pin of the door hinge. Further, the body member may comprise an abutment surface extending between the first end surface and the second end surface, wherein the abutment surface is configured to abut against the door hinge for maintaining the body member in a substantially fixed position relative to the door hinge. Additionally, the body member may comprise a first side surface extending between the first end surface and the second end surface.
