A window regulator for a motor vehicle door assembly including features for providing defrosting capabilities for movable glass of the door. A door wire harness is routed inside a door inner cavity. A defroster wire harness is provided having a first end connected to the door wire harness at a bracket on a window regulator guide rail. The opposite end of the defroster wire harness is affixed to a second bracket at a window regulator window carrier. Electrical defroster element wires are connected to the defroster wire harness at the second connector. The defroster wire harness is configured to undergo a bending motion in a manner to reduce fatigue and interference with internal components of the vehicle door. Other applications include providing electrical power to electronic or electrical elements carried by a vehicle movable window panel in addition to defroster functions.

It is provided a drive device for an adjustment installation for adjusting a vehicle part, in particular a power window actuator, comprising a carrier element, a cable drum, a cable exit housing which is disposed on a first side of the carrier element and which has a first bearing element for mounting the cable drum so as to be rotatable about a first rotation axis, a drive wheel that is drivable by a motor unit, and a drive housing which is disposed on a second side, facing away from the first side, of the carrier element and which has a second bearing element for mounting the drive wheel so as to be rotatable about a second rotation axis. The cable exit housing and the drive housing are fastened to one another by way of a fastening element which acts between the first bearing element and the second bearing element.

A window regulator includes a guide rail and a drum housing at an end of the guide rail. The guide rail includes a flat plate portion extending in the ascending/descending direction, and a side plate portion rising from the flat plate portion. The drum housing includes a fitting hole into which the end of the guide rail is inserted and fitted, a first fitting guide wall extending from a first inner surface of the fitting hole toward the near side in an insertion direction so as to protrude from an edge of the fitting hole and guiding the flat plate portion to the fitting hole, and a second fitting guide wall extending from a second inner surface of fitting hole toward the near side in the insertion direction so as to protrude from the edge of the fitting hole and guiding the side plate portion to the fitting hole.

The carrier element has a contact structure having a plurality of elevations and depressions that are successively lined up and are mutually disposed in an alternating manner, the at least one housing portion of the cable exit housing by way of a base portion being attachable to the contact structure.

An adjustable window regulator lift plate assembly for a vehicle window includes a base and a window holder. The window holder is secured to the base via a part-in-assembly fastener that extends through an aperture in the base and into an aperture formed in an inner leg of the window holder. The window holder may receive and secure a window, and the fastener may be inserted through the window holder and into a fastener plate disposed on an outer leg of the window holder. The window holder includes a curved inner surface on the inner leg, and the base includes a curved outer surface that contacts the inner leg. The window holder may be shifted and pivoted relative to the base. The fastener may be tightened to secure the window holder relative to the base in a desired pivoted position.

Adjustable slider may include a first jaw, an engagement member, and an adjustment mechanism. The first jaw may extend in a first direction and include a first face. The first face may include a ramped surface that may extend obliquely with respect to the first direction. The engagement member may be configured to be disposed between the window pane and the first jaw. The adjustment mechanism may include an adjustment member that may be configured to rotate about a first rotational axis. The adjustment mechanism may also include a translatable member that may be coupled to the engagement member and configured to translate about the first rotational axis such that rotation of the adjustment member moves the engagement member along the ramped surface of the first jaw.

A pulley includes a main winding portion including an annular main winding groove, where a wire is windable, formed between a first flange and a second flange; and an auxiliary winding portion including an auxiliary winding groove, where the wire is windable, formed between the second flange and a third flange. The auxiliary winding groove includes a closest portion closest to the main winding groove in the radial direction thereof, and a curved portion curved toward the main winding groove in a portion adjacent to the closest portion so that the curved portion joins the main winding groove at the closest portion. The third flange includes an auxiliary guide portion extending in the radial direction of the auxiliary winding groove so that the groove depth of the curved portion becomes larger than that of the closest portion. This structure can provide a pulley allowing easy winding of a wire.
