Sliding window assembly
A sliding window assembly for a vehicle is disclosed. The assembly includes panels and heating grids coupled to respective panels for defrosting the panels. The assembly further includes a conductive element in continuous electrical connection to the panels for defrosting the panels.
Sliding window assembly including a drain hole
A sliding window assembly for a vehicle includes a fixed panel and a sliding panel moveable relative to the fixed panel. A track is connected to the fixed panel. The track includes an elongated member having a base portion and first and second legs extending from the base portion to define a channel. The first leg is connected to the fixed panel and the second leg is spaced from the first leg. The sliding panel is disposed within the channel and is slidable along the track relative to the fixed panel. The first leg defines a drain hole in communication with the channel and an exterior of the vehicle for draining water from the channel to the exterior of the vehicle.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SECURING A CASE TO A COMPONENT
A bracket of a window regulator is provided. The bracket having: a first securement feature integrally formed with the bracket for securing a clutch housing to the bracket; and a second securement feature for locking the first securement feature in engagement with the clutch housing, wherein the second securement feature is integrally formed with the bracket.
Slider window assembly with movable panel drive system
A vehicular slider window assembly includes a frame portion having an upper rail and a lower rail, a fixed window panel, and a movable window panel that is movable along the rails between an opened position and a closed position. A drive system is operable to move the movable window panel between the opened position and the closed position. The drive system includes a single flexible drive element that, when the drive system is actuated to move the window panel in one direction, the flexible drive element pulls the movable window panel along the rails, and when the drive system is actuated to move the window panel in the opposite direction, the flexible drive element pushes the movable window panel along the rails. The lower rail includes guide structure that limits flexing of the flexible drive element when the flexible drive element pushes the movable window panel along the rails.

A device for closing off an aperture formed in a structure, comprising: a fixed portion, in which an opening is defined, and at least one sliding movable panel guided along two guide rails between a closing-off position, closing said opening, and at least one opening position, each of said guide rails carrying at least one shutter guided in translation in said rail, actuation means acting on one of said shutters to ensure a translational movement of these in said guide rails and the passage of the movable panel from said closing-off position into said at least one sliding position, and vice versa, and two synchronisation cables ensuring a synchronisation of the movement of said shutters.
Each shutter carries a movable slider movable relative to said shutter and receiving one end of each of said synchronisation cables, so that the movement of said ends of said synchronisation cables is substantially parallel to the plane of said movable panel during the movement of said shutters ensuring the passage of said movable panel from said closing-off position into said at least one sliding position, and vice versa.
