Vehicle door displacement device
The device comprises a main body, a fixing member affording fixing of a door leaf to the main body, a ball socket able to drive the main body under the effect of a motor, a roller able to move between (a) an active locking position in which the roller locks the ball socket with respect to the main body, in a closed position of the door leaf and (b) an inactive unlocking position in which a the roller allows displacement of the ball socket with respect to the main body. The device also includes a sleeve that allows a small movement of the fixing member with respect to the ball socket in a displacement direction from the closed position of the door leaf. The device further comprises a tooth that inhibits sleeve to immobilize the fixing member with respect to the ball socket, at least in translation in the displacement direction, when the roller is in the inactive position.
Clutch mechanism between leadscrew and electric motor
A clutch mechanism for coupling and uncoupling an electric motor and leadscrew has dog-clutch gears that can be engaged by a linear actuator, bell crank, and linkage shaft. Uncoupling force due to narrowed dog teeth are resisted by the alignment of the linkage shaft with the central portion of the bell crank.
HINGE CLOSURE
A hinge closure (1) including a first hinge element (2) for arrangement on a door (4) and a second hinge element (3) for arrangement on a door frame, wherein the first hinge element (2) and the second hinge element (3) interlock via a locking device (7) an actuating device (6) actuates the locking device (7), and an emergency unlocking device (8) unlocks the two hinge elements (2, 3). In another embodiment, a door (4) includes such a hinge closure (1).
TRACK- OR RAIL-MOUNTED CLOSURE DRIVE ASSEMBLY
A device for a closure drive assembly can include: a moveable trolley, the trolley configured for movement along a track or a rail under drive by a drive component to move a closure between an open position and a closed position, the trolley including a body having a guiding surface; a rotating body having one or more camming surfaces, rotation of the rotating body about a rotation axis being supported by the guiding surface; and a lever having a lever camming surface configured to engage with one or more of the camming surfaces of the rotating body, wherein the lever is associated with an engagement member such that rotation of the lever moves the lever camming surface along the one or more rotating body camming surfaces to displace the engagement member, and wherein the engagement member is arranged to provide selective engagement between the moveable trolley and the drive component.
Automated sliding panel mechanism with manual release mechanism
An automated sliding panel mechanism is disclosed. An automated sliding panel mechanism includes a motor attached to a first component of a sliding panel that is configured to move the sliding panel between a closed position and an open position. The mechanism also includes a power source and a rack attached to a second component of the sliding panel and including a base with rack teeth extending from a plane thereof. A gear is rotated by the motor and has gear teeth shaped to mesh with the rack teeth. A manual release mechanism is adapted to move the gear along its axis of rotation, from an engaged position, wherein the gear teeth mesh with the rack teeth to a released position, wherein the gear teeth are disengaged from the rack teeth. The manual release mechanism also includes a holding mechanism adapted to hold the gear in the engaged position and in the released position as selected by a user.
DOOR CLOSER ARRANGEMENT
The invention comprises a door closer (1), a slide rail (3) and an arm (2). The arm is connected to the door closer (1) and to the slide rail (3). The slide rail is provided with a hold open device (4) in order to keep a door open. The arm (2) comprises an outer arm (8A, 9A) and an inner arm (8B, 9B). The inner is situated partly inside the outer arm in a sliding manner. The arm (2) also comprises a spring arrangement (11) in order to hold the inner arm (8B, 9B) in a normal position in the outer arm (8A, 9A), and a release device (10A, 10B). The release device is arranged to release the inner arm (8B, 9B) from its normal position when an external force being strong enough to active a release of the release device (10A, 10B) drives the inner arm (8B, 9B) out from the outer arm (8A, 9A).
LINKAGE FOR A DOOR ACTUATOR
A linkage for force transmission between a driven axle of a door actuator and an assembly surface, includes a hinge, a fastening arrangement designed for fastening the hinge to the assembly surface, in particular a door, frame or wall, wherein an assembly axis is defined perpendicularly to the assembly surface, and a lever arrangement which is fastened to the hinge so as to be rotatable about a hinge axis perpendicular to the assembly axis and which is designed for rotationally-fixed connection to the driven axle of the door actuator. The linkage is designed to detach through the weight of the door actuator falling down in the event of a fire and/or wherein the linkage includes a thermally activatable trigger element that is designed to detach the linkage in the event of thermal activation triggered by a fire.
Emergency Actuating Device
Emergency actuating device, especially for vehicle doors, is provided. The device includes: a support base; a manual actuation element adapted to assume rest and actuation configurations; an electromagnetically driven locking mechanism adapted to lock the actuation element in its rest configuration; a protective shell adapted to assume a closed configuration in which the shell isolates the actuation element from the outer environment when the actuation element is in its rest configuration, and makes it impossible to reach the actuation element with a hand, and an open configuration, in which the actuation element can be reached with a hand to be brought from the rest configuration to the actuation configuration and vice versa; and an opening sensor adapted to generate an electric signal indicative of the open configuration of the protective shell, the signal being processable by an electronic control unit for controlling locking and/or unlocking of the locking mechanism.
Reversible doors for auotmobiles such that the door can electively be opened in a traditional orientation or in the suicide orientation
A car door that is affixed to an automobile that can be opened from one or more hinges that attach and allows opening and closing of the door toward the front end of the car that can also be electively chosen through a computerized module inside the automobile to open from one or more hinges that attach and allows opening and closing of the door toward the rear end of the car, i.e., in the suicide orientation. A door latch assembly is attached to either side that allows for a pin to close the side not in use when activated and when de-activate allows for the opening in the chosen orientation. The computer module is programmed such that only one side can be open at a time. Manual override from inside the vehicle is provided in the event of an electrical system failure.
