An actuating drive includes an actuating arm pivotally supported about a pivoting axis, and movably supported between a closed position and an open position. A force storage member applies a force to the actuating arm, and a coupling device can brake or prevent a pivotal movement of the actuating arm. The coupling device includes a movably-supported first coupling element having a tooth arrangement, and the first coupling element can engage a second coupling element when a predetermined pivotal speed of the actuating arm is exceeded to brake or prevent the pivotal movement of the actuating arm. The second coupling element includes an engagement section for engaging the two coupling elements together, and includes a freewheel section separate from the engagement section. In the closed position, the first coupling element is within the freewheel section of the second coupling element, whereby the two coupling elements are decoupled from one another.

A tensioner for a fenestration unit operator includes a base and a guide including a track, the track slidably receiving the base such that the base is restricted to sliding in a first direction with respect to the guide along a sliding axis and a second direction with respect to the guide along the sliding axis that is opposite to the first direction. The tensioner includes a pawl and a ratchet each being a part of one of the sled and the guide, respectively, the pawl being in biased engagement with the ratchet to permit sliding in the first direction and restrict sliding in the second direction, the pawl being configured to be manually disengaged from the ratchet to permit sliding in the second direction. The tensioner includes a pulley coupled to the sled such that the pulley is free to rotate about a rotational axis that is transverse to the sliding axis.

An actuating drive includes an actuating arm pivotally supported about a pivoting axis, and movably supported between a closed position and an open position. The coupling device includes a movably-supported first coupling element having a tooth arrangement, and the first coupling element can engage a second coupling element when a predetermined pivotal speed of the actuating arm is exceeded to brake or prevent the pivotal movement of the actuating arm. The second coupling element includes an engagement section for engaging the two coupling elements together, and includes a freewheel section separate from the engagement section. In the closed position, the first coupling element is within the freewheel section of the second coupling element, whereby the two coupling elements are decoupled from one another.

A door hinge has first and second leaf assemblies. The first assembly is formed with a longitudinal guide groove. First and second links are connected to each other for relative pivoting about a vertical axis. The first link is pivoted in a longitudinally displaceable slide in the groove. This slide has a length longitudinally of the guide groove and a width transversely of the guide groove. The ratio of the length to the width of the slide is at least 2:1.

A collection tank for a mobile vacuum excavator includes a front with a closed end, a rear with an open end, a door configured to be closed over the open end, and a linkage assembly having a first end attached to the door and a second end attached to the body. A first pivotal movement drives the first end and second end away from each other, and a second pivotal movement moves the first end and the second end toward each other. An actuator is attached to the first arm and to the second arm so that actuation of the actuator in a first direction drives the first pivotal movement and actuation of the actuator in a second direction drives the second arm the second pivotal movement.

A furniture drive includes a carrier to be fixed a furniture carcass, an actuating arm for moving the movably-supported furniture part relative to the carrier, the actuating arm being pivotable about a first pivoting axis, and an interface for fixing a synchronization shaft, and configured to synchronize a pivotal movement of the actuating arm with a pivotal movement of an actuating arm of a further actuating drive. The interface includes a component pivotable about a second pivoting axis, the second pivoting axis being arranged laterally offset to the first pivoting axis of the actuating arm. The carrier has an upper side which, in a mounted condition of the furniture drive on the furniture carcass, faces towards a top panel of the furniture carcass, and the first pivoting axis has a larger perpendicular distance to the upper side than the second pivoting axis.

A locking device includes a cam that is formed in a rotating unit configured to rotate about a rotational center axis that is parallel to an opening width direction of a door, and the cam permits or prohibits movement of a door leaf in the opening width direction in accordance with a rotational position of the rotating unit.

An armrest console includes an armrest, a fixed gear coupled to a top of a storage compartment in the armrest console, an elevating gear coupled to the armrest; a dampener gear engaged with the elevating gear and the fixed gear, and a gear connector to receive the elevating gear and the dampener gear. When the armrest is rotated about an axis of the elevating gear in a counterclockwise direction to open, the elevating gear is rotated in the counterclockwise direction and the dampener gear is rotated in a clockwise direction and both the elevating gear and the dampener gear are rotated about an axis of the fixed gear, and wherein the elevating gear and the dampener gear are moved up at a height direction when the armrest is rotated to open.

In a driver, supposing that an angular position of the rotator in a state where a coupler coupling a link member and the rotator together is located at a rearmost position is regarded as a reference angular position, a first angular position is an angular position where the rotator is shifted from the reference angular position in a first rotation direction by an angle θ1, and a second angular position is an angular position where the rotator is shifted from the reference angular position in a second direction opposite to the first rotation direction by an angle θ2 smaller than the angle θ1. The driver has a regulating portion which does not allow the rotator to rotate in the second rotation direction from the second angular position.

An assembly for controlling the position of air inlets of an enclosure including an actuation rod which moves laterally and is positioned above and parallel with the air inlets, one or more actuation cables, where the first end of each actuation cable is attached to the actuation rod and the second end of each cable is attached to one or more of the air inlets and lateral movement of the actuation rod causes vertical movement of the actuation cables and attached air inlets.
