Information Handling System Narrow Width Hinge
An information handling system narrow width dual axes hinge rotationally couples portable information handling system housing portions to each other with minimal spacing between the housing portions. A gear assembly synchronizes motion about the dual axles at one end of the dual axles, the gear assembly having brackets to couple to each housing portion. Torque brackets couple to the opposite end of the dual axles, each torque bracket couple to a housing portion and resisting rotation of the housing portions by generating friction at the axle.
Refrigerator
Disclosed herein is a refrigerator which includes a body, a door configured to open and close a storage compartment and a door opening and closing apparatus. The door opening and closing apparatus includes a pair of intermittent gears configured to transmit the power from a first gear to a second gear of the door opening and closing apparatus and configured to prevent an external force from being transmitted from the second gear to the first gear while the external force is applied to open and close the door. This configuration, among other benefits, improves the durability of a door opening and closing apparatus.
CAM RELEASE SYSTEM FOR JACKSHAFT CONVERSION FROM A CEILING GARAGE DOOR OPENER
A transmission assembly for converting a garage door operator (GDO) from a ceiling mounted configuration to a jackshaft configuration may include an output coupler for operably coupling a drive tube rotatable to alternately open and close a sectional door, a pinion assembly operably coupled to the output coupler via a flexible coupling member, a releasable coupling assembly, a handle, and a cam operated engagement assembly. The releasable coupling assembly may be operably coupled to a motor output shaft of a GDO motor. The releasable coupling assembly may have an engaged state in which rotation of the motor output shaft is transferred to the pinion assembly and a disengaged state in which the rotation of the motor is not transferred to the pinion assembly. The cam operated engagement assembly may be operably coupled to the handle and the releasable coupling assembly to transition the releasable coupling assembly between the engages state and the disengaged state based on a position of the handle.
DOOR CLOSER
A door closer (10) includes an exterior housing (11), a spring assembly (12), a ratchet assembly (13), and a clutch assembly (14). The housing has a central tube (17), drive collar (23), a top end cap (52), and a bottom end cap (65). The drive collar includes an indexing pin channel (41) and indexing pin (42) which includes a pawl (45) having a contact surface (47) and a curved bearing surface (48). The spring assembly includes a shaft (73), a spring stop (80), and a helical torsion spring (106) positioned upon the shaft. The ratchet assembly resides within drive collar and includes ratchet wheel (111) having an annular array of ratchet teeth (112) configured to mesh with the pawl of the indexing pin. Each tooth has an undercut contact surface (113) and a curved bearing surface (114). The clutch assembly includes a bottom disc (120) and a top disc (121).
ROOF LOCK DEVICE
In a driver, supposing that an angular position of the rotator in a state where a coupler coupling a link member and the rotator together is located at a rearmost position is regarded as a reference angular position, a first angular position is an angular position where the rotator is shifted from the reference angular position in a first rotation direction by an angle 1, and a second angular position is an angular position where the rotator is shifted from the reference angular position in a second direction opposite to the first rotation direction by an angle 2 smaller than the angle 1. The driver has a regulating portion which does not allow the rotator to rotate in the second rotation direction from the second angular position.
Multi-axis hinge for a stylized vehicle door
A multi-axis hinge mechanism for a vehicle door. The multi-axis hinge mechanism moves the vehicle door laterally and vertically by means of multiple axial rotations. An actuator pivots the door hinges attaching the door to the vehicle to move the door away from the vehicle while a set of gears translates the motion of the actuator into a vertical rotation of the door.
SLIDING DOOR SYSTEM FOR INSTALLATION IN A BUILDING WALL
A sliding door system for a building wall includes first and second wall parts having opposite first and second door openings respectively and separated by an intermediate space, first and second door leaves closing the first and second door openings respectively, a door leaf carrier slidable along the intermediate space by a linear guide device and on which the door leaves are pivotably mounted by a pivot mechanism, and a coupling device converting the carrier sliding movement into a rotational movement actuating the pivot mechanism so that the door leaves pivot relative to the door leaf carrier, the coupling device including a slotted component with a slot representing a desired relationship between the sliding movement and the rotational movement and a control lever coupling the slot to the pivot mechanism, and wherein the slotted component is mounted on at least one of the first and second wall parts.
ACTUATING DRIVE
An actuating drive includes an actuating arm to be connected to the furniture part and a force accumulator for applying force to the actuating arm. The force accumulator has a spring and at least two base parts which can be moved relative to each other and between which the at least one spring is arranged. A guiding device is arranged within the spring, and the guiding device is designed in such a way that the guiding device supports the spring against buckling of the spring over the entire length of the spring and in every position of the spring resulting from motion of the at least two base parts relative to each other.
DOOR OPERATOR ASSEMBLY
A combination door operator assembly and door, wherein the door operator assembly includes an operator unit mounted to the door on the pushing side thereof, an arm linkage having a driving arm and a driven arm, a second mounting bracket preferably on the frame of the door, a rechargeable power storage pack having at least one of a rechargeable battery and one or more capacitors, and a controller, for monitoring a speed and a position of the door, wherein when the door moves faster than a predetermined speed, the motor is used as a generator to charge the rechargeable power storage pack and the speed of the door is reduced.
