Top-hanging sliding door including wedge design top seal
Systems and methods for providing a door seal system for top-hanging sliding doors. In some implementations, two angled mating surfaces are used, one angled surface on a fixed frame and one reversed angled surface on the slideable door panel. The slideable door panel slides directly parallel to the fixed door frame. A mating seal surface is created that is only in frictional contact for a small portion of the linear slide distance of the door panel. In some implementations, rather than placing two opposing angled seal surfaces, the sealing system has one angled surface on the fixed door frame. In such implementations, the sliding door panel is adjusted to be in a reverse angled orientation relative to the angled surface of the fixed door frame. Seal designs for the rear vertical edge of the slideable door panel are also provided herein.
PASSENGER SUITE DOOR WITH QUICK RELEASE EGRESS FEATURE
A door assembly for an aircraft passenger suite includes a stationary wall, a rail mounted to the stationary wall, a carriage translatably mounted to the rail, a movable door, and a lock pin mounted to the door. The door assembly further includes a carriage subassembly mounted to the carriage including a receiver for receiving the lock pin, and a spring-loaded clamp for exerting a retaining force on the lock pin to retain the lock pin in the receiver. In embodiments, the lock pin has a configuration in which a force required to disengage the lock pin from the receiver is greater than a force required to engage the lock pin in the receiver. In use, in the event of mechanism failure, force can be applied to the door to decouple the lock pin from the receiver to move the door to facilitate egress.
HINGE FOR A LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT
A luggage compartment hinge having a first hinge leaf with one bearing bush arranged between two second hinge leaf bushes. In an axle tube, non-rotatably connected to the first hinge leaf bush and rotatable in the second hinge leaf bearing bushes, there is a torsion spring, fastened at its first end to the axle tube and at its second end to a pretensioning adjusting element. A pivoting-movement damping element is arranged between the first and second hinge leaves. The adjusting element includes: a latching element in the second hinge leaf second bush with a ratchet wheel having an outer gear rim; a locking pawl mounted on the second bush for engagement in the outer gear rim; and a stop element which limits the rotation angle of the adjusting element. This arrangement allows the locking effect of the locking pawl to be ensured even without axial pretensioning of the torsion spring.
FIXTURE FOR MOUNTING A WINDOW LIFTER ASSEMBLY IN A VEHICLE DOOR
It is provided a fixture for mounting a window lifter assembly in a vehicle door, wherein the fixture can be mounted in a vehicle door and at least includes at least one mounting portion, via which the window lifter assembly can be mounted on the fixture in a plurality of mounting positions, and at least one tool interface, via which a tool adapted for connection can reversibly be connected to the fixture, wherein the window lifter assembly properly mounted on the fixture can be shifted from one of the mounting positions into another one of the mounting positions by a torque introduced into the connected tool. adjusting
Window actuator linkage assembly for alignment adjustment at a moveable portion of a window
A window actuator linkage assembly that includes barrel brackets, a mounting bracket, and a clamping plate for fastening to a moveable portion of a window that facilitates adjustment of the alignment of a chain extending from an actuator positioned on or within a fixed portion of a window to the window actuator linkage assembly. A window actuator linkage assembly can also include elements such as barrel brackets that have openings to receive a fastener, a T-shaped base, and a slotted base bracket having an inner surface that slidably engages with the T-shaped base, and is configured to fix the T-shaped base in a desired position along the length of the slotted base bracket.
