ROOF WINDOW WITH A HINGE ASSEMBLY
In the roof window, a hinge assembly (9) is provided to allow the sash (3) to be tophung in a first operational condition corresponding to normal use in that the sash (3) is intended to be rotated about a substantially horizontal first hinge axis () at or near the top frame member (21) and top sash member between a closed position and an open position, the hinge assembly (9) comprising a hinge unit (91) with a frame hinge part (92) connected to or connectable to at least the top frame member (21), a sash hinge part (93) connected to at least the top sash member, and a hinge pin (94) connecting the frame hinge part (92) with the sash hinge part (93). The frame hinge part (92) is connected to the top frame member (21) and provided with a receiving structure (922) for the hinge pin (94) defining the first hinge axis (), and the sash hinge part is connected to the top sash member (31) and provided with a receiving structure (932) for the hinge pin (94), such that the hinge unit (91) forms a pin-and-barrel hinge.
Brake for vehicle closure actuator
A power closure actuator for powering a movable closure includes a shaft situated between an electric motor and an output member. A brake device along the shaft is configured for actuation via an electric brake actuator to apply braking. An active brake clamp is movable by the electric brake actuator. An axially floating rotor is rotatable with the shaft and has a first axial side facing the active brake clamp a second axial side providing a second braking surface. A passive backing brake clamp is positioned adjacent the second braking surface. The axially floating rotor is biased away from the passive backing brake clamp by a first biasing member. Deflection of the first biasing member coupled with axial movement of the active brake clamp and the axially floating rotor enables braking by pinching action of the axially floating rotor between the active brake clamp and the passive backing brake clamp.
Furniture fitting
A furniture fitting is pivotable relative to a furniture carcass, and includes a housing to be arranged on or in a furniture panel of a furniture carcass, and a positioning arm mounted to be movable relative to the housing. The positioning arm is movable between a first maximum position, corresponding to a closed position of the movably mounted furniture part, and a second maximum position, corresponding to a maximum open position of the movably mounted furniture part. The housing has a front side and a fastening interface via which the movable furniture part is fastenable on the positioning arm. The fastening interface has a contact surface for contacting the movably mounted furniture part. The contact surface is arranged, in the first maximum position, in a plane of the front side of the housing and, in the second maximum position, in a plane perpendicular to the plane of the front side.
Bi-fold overhead door with concealed hydraulic cylinder
A bi-fold overhead door system including a door frame, an overhead door and a hydraulic cylinder. The frame and the overhead door have corresponding slots formed therein. A top member of the door is pivotally mounted to the door frame. The hydraulic cylinder includes a first cylinder end and a second cylinder end. The first cylinder end is operably attached to the frame. The second cylinder end is operably attached to the overhead door. The hydraulic cylinder is capable of moving the overhead door between a closed configuration and an open configuration. When the door is in the closed configuration, the hydraulic cylinder is substantially recessed within the frame and door slots.
Door system with integrated electric devices
A door system comprises a door frame adapted to be mounted within an opening, a door pivotally attached to the door frame, an AC/DC converter configured to be electrically connected to an AC power unit operably associated with the door system, a slot in the door, a pre-wired receptacle disposed in the slot, and a DC electric device removably disposed in the pre-wired receptacle and electrically connected to the AC/DC converter through the electrical connector of the pre-wired receptacle. The pre-wired receptacle comprises an electrical connector electrically connected the AC/DC converter.
DOOR CLOSER CASINGS
An example door closer includes a casing and a pinion rotatably mounted to the casing. The pinion is operable to rotate through a plurality of movement zones, and the door closer is configured to exert forces on the pinion as the pinion moves through the plurality of movement zones. The door closer further includes a plurality of adjustment mechanisms, each operable to adjust the force exerted on the pinion as the pinion travels through a corresponding movement zone. The casing is provided with indicia that correlate each of the adjustment mechanisms to the corresponding movement zone.
Movement system for one leaf of a lift-sliding door or lift-sliding door-window, as well as lift-sliding door or lift-sliding door-window including the movement system
A system for moving a leaf of a slidable lifting door or door-window between a locked lowered closed position, where the insulating element in the leaf is compressed against the floor and hinders sliding, and at least two unlocked raised closed and open positions, between which the leaf is free to slide, includes a guide rail, which can be anchored to a frame above the leaf; a sliding system slidably engaged in the guide rail; a movement system; and an actuator, which can be controlled by a user and engaged with the movement system so that the user can control the movement of the leaf between the locked lowered closed and unlocked raised closed positions exclusively when the leaf is in such positions. The movement and the sliding systems are operatively connected so that the sliding system slidably supports the leaf when in the unlocked raised closed position.
ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A DRIVE DEVICE, A COMPONENT FOR CLOSING AN OPENING, AND A GUIDE DEVICE
An assembly includes a drive device, a component to be displaced relative to a wall element for closing an opening of the wall element, and a guide device with which the component can be displaced relative to the wall element. A switch and/or a sensor system, preferably a metal detector, allows a partially open position of the component to be detected and/or allows the drive device to be activated, preferably based on a detection of the partially open position starting from a fully open position, and/or allows the drive device to be deactivated, preferably based on a detection of the partially open position starting from a closed position.
Swing door mounting structure for vehicle
An embodiment swing door mounting structure for a vehicle includes a roof side reinforcement member coupled to an inner side of a cross section of a roof side of a side structure in a vehicle body front and rear direction and a door mounting member coupled to the roof side reinforcement member to define an open cross section for mounting a swing door on the roof side.
DOOR SYSTEM WITH INTEGRATED ELECTRIC DEVICES
