A brake arrangement for a drive apparatus, in particular for a drive apparatus for adjusting a vehicle flap, includes a brake housing (2), wherein the brake housing (2) comprises a first brake housing part (3) and a second brake housing part (7), a first brake element (13) which is arranged non-rotatably in the brake housing (2), a second brake element (15) which is arranged rotatably in the brake housing (2), and a preload means (19) for preloading one of the first brake element (13) and second brake element (15) toward the other of the first brake element (13) and second brake element (15) in the direction of a longitudinal axis (L) of the brake housing (2). A smart entryway includes an entrance door assembly configured to allow users (e.g., residents) to enter and exit a first space (e.g., a residence) and a storage assembly configured to allow secondary users (e.g., deliverymen) in a second space (e.g., a porch) to store items for later retrieval by the users. A portion of the storage assembly may be optionally refrigerated or heated. A security assembly is provided between the entrance door assembly and the storage assembly. The security assembly includes an authentication device to authenticate users and secondary users and a locking device to unlock the storage assembly and the entrance door assembly upon authentication. When a first door of the storage assembly accessible from the first space is opened, a second door of the storage assembly accessible from the second space is locked.

A spindle drive for an adjustment element of a motor vehicle, including a tubular drive housing having a first housing pipe, a spindle/spindle nut transmission configured to produce linear drive movements, a first drive connection and a second drive connection configured to discharge the drive movements, the first drive connection forms with one of the transmission components a first drive train component and the second drive connection forms with the other of the transmission components a second drive train component. A housing cover axially closing the drive housing and arranged in an axially secure manner relative to the first drive connection. The first housing pipe arranged in an axially secure manner relative to the first drive connection. A housing collar in a first coupling portion of the spindle drive connected to the first housing pipe and in a second coupling portion coupled to the housing cover.

An electronic safe and hinge combination is addressed in which hinges are integrally formed from a door plate and safe wall plate, such as a safe side wall. No exterior welds are employed so that a strong and aesthetically pleasing fascia results. Additionally, a hinge and removable hinge pin arrangement is provided which allows the safe body to be constructed separately from the doors and mated together during final assembly, as well as, facilitating repair of a damaged door and retrofitting one door for another for an in the field upgrade.
