Garage door opener system and method of operating a garage door opener system
A garage door opener system having a garage door opener and a remote input device electrically connected to the garage door opener by an electrical conductor. The remote input device receives power by the electrical conductor. The remote input device includes a device controller to communicate an event message, monitor for an acknowledgement message within a time period, and repeat the event message when the acknowledgement message is not received within a time period. The garage door opener includes a master controller. The master controller receives the event message and communicates the acknowledgement message in response to receiving the event message. Also disclosed is a method of operating the garage door opener system.
Movable barrier operator light distribution
A movable barrier operator mounts to a ceiling or a wall of a garage. The movable barrier operator includes an operator housing with a motor configured to open and close a movable barrier. The movable barrier operator also includes an LED light source mounted to the housing, a light cover, and a light distributing element. The light cover has several side surfaces that surround or covers the light source. The light distributing element mounts relative to the light source and is configured to scatter light projected by the LED light source so that some of the scattered light is directed toward one or more of the side surfaces of the light cover.
DISPLAY CASE DOOR ASSEMBLY WITH VACUUM PANEL AND LIGHTING FEATURES
A display case door assembly for a temperature-controlled storage device includes a vacuum panel, a hinge rail, and a lighting element. The vacuum panel includes a first vacuum pane, a second vacuum pane, and an evacuated gap between the first and second vacuum panes. The evacuated gap provides thermal insulation for the vacuum panel. The hinge rail is coupled to an edge of the vacuum panel and configured to rotate along with the vacuum panel between an open position and a closed position. The lighting element is coupled to at least one of the edge rail and the vacuum panel and configured to emit light toward an interior of the temperature-controlled storage device when the hinge rail and vacuum panel are in at least the closed position.
Access control system comprising a sliding door and visualization of status information
A system for controlling access to a restricted-access area in a building has a sliding door system and a controller for the sliding door system. The sliding door system has a door frame and a sliding door which can be moved in the door frame between a closed position and an open position by a drive unit. The door frame has a passage region and a wall shell region which at least partially accommodates the sliding door in the open position. A controller is arranged on the sliding door and is communicatively connected to the drive device. The controller is designed to control a movement of the sliding door between the closed position and an open position. A light projection device is arranged in an interior of the sliding door and is communicatively connected to the controller. The light projection device is designed to project status information specified by the controller for a user requesting access to the restricted-access area as a visible light projection onto a projection surface.
Modular garage door opener
A modular garage door opener system and method including a garage door opener having a motor that is configured to be coupled to a garage door to open and close the garage door. The garage door opener includes a first accessory port including a first accessory mounting interface and a second accessory port disposed on the garage door opener including a second accessory mounting interface. An accessory device including a first mounting interface engages the first accessory mounting interface to couple the accessory device to the first accessory port. The accessory device may be disengaged from the first accessory mounting interface and then engage the second accessory mounting interface to couple the accessory device to the second accessory port. Additionally, a second accessory device may engage the first accessory port after disengagement of the accessory device.
ILLUMINATION ELEMENT FOR A VEHICLE
The disclosure relates to an illumination element for a vehicle. The illumination element comprises an outer trim part, illumination means, and a transparent cover arrangement between the trim part and the illumination means. The disclosure also relates to a vehicle comprising at least one such illumination element, and a control element for a device for opening or unlocking a vehicle.
BATTERY CHARGING STATION WITH MODULE PORT
An accessory device system includes a charger, a battery pack selectively coupled to a battery receiving portion of the charger to receive charging current, and a first accessory device selectively coupled to an accessory device port of the charger. The charger further includes an electronic controller having a wireless transceiver and configured to communicate with a peripheral device to one or more of provide identity and status information regarding the first accessory device and to receive settings data to control the first accessory device. The charger receives the identity and status information from the first accessory device, and provides the settings data to the first accessory device to control the first accessory device. In some instances, the peripheral device and the charger communicate via a network and server, and the charger communicates wirelessly with the network via the wireless transceiver.
Hinge assembly for an insulated glass door
The hinge assembly comprises a housing for mounting on a cabinet and a post member for mounting on a door and for rotation relative to the housing. A first electrical contact is mounted within the housing for connection to a source of electrical power in the cabinet and a second electrical contact is disposed in the post in electrical contact with the first contact for connection to an electrical appliance in the door. In one embodiment, the electrical contacts rotate relative to each other as the post member pivots on the housing while in other embodiments; the electrical contacts remain stationary relative to each other as the post member pivots on the housing.
Lamp Safe System
An embodiment can include a lamp safe system that includes an inner casing and an outer casing, lampshade or lamp body, which can be removably attached to an outer casing though a outer body attachment device. An inner casing can include a first wall, second wall, and third wall that can be removably attached to a safe door. An inner casing can have a male flange. A inner casing can have a door with a lock removably attached. An outer casing can substantially surround an inner casing. An outer casing can have a female flange. An outer casing can have an air spring attached to it through a clevis, which can be attached to an inner casing. A inner casing can slide on alignment track which can be attached to both an inner casing's first wall and third wall, and outer casing inner surface.
