CATECHOL-CONTAINING ADHESIVE HYDROGEL, COMPOSITION FOR PREPARING ADHESIVE HYDROGEL, AND COMPOSITIONS EACH INCLUDING SAID ADHESIVE HYDROGEL
A hydrogel that adheres to the surface of materials is provided by using as constituent elements a water-soluble main chain monomer, crosslinking agent, polymerization initiator, and adhesive monomer having at least a catechol group in a side chain.
TRANSPARENT DRESSING WITH HYDROGEL LAYER
A dressing including a top film, an adhesive layer positioned adjacent the top film closer to a user's skin when the bandage is in use, a hydrogel layer including a support layer, below the adhesive layer closer to the user's skin when the bandage is in use, and a lower perforated layer positioned under the hydrogel layer for adhering the bandage to a user's skin. All of the layers may be transparent or at least partially translucent to allow a user to view the user's skin through the bandage. The hydrogel layer provides pressure distribution to reduce stress on the user's skin and reduce the likelihood of pressure ulcers.
Polymer particles
Biodegradable, cross-linked polymer particle embolics and methods of making the same are described. The particle embolics can be used as embolization agents.
Polymer particles
Biodegradable, cross-linked polymer particle embolics and methods of making the same are described. The particle embolics can be used as embolization agents.
SUPER ABSORBENT POLYMER AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The super absorbent polymer according to the present invention has reduced 3-hour saline solution re-wet while having a high absorption rate and absorption against pulp, and thus can be used for hygienic materials such as diapers, thereby exhibiting excellent performance.
Composite Material
Disclosed is a hydrophilic dressing (200) having appropriate mechanical strength, comprising a composite material (100, 220) and a film (210). The composite material (100, 220) comprises a hydrophilic substrate material (110) and a compound (120) that promotes wound healing, wherein the hydrophilic substrate material (110) is a reaction product of a hydrophilic polymer, wherein the hydrophilic polymer comprises a hydrophilic monomer, a cross-linking agent and an inorganic silicon-oxygen compound, wherein the compound (120) that promotes wound healing is distributed in the hydrophilic substrate material (110).
