A driving assembly for a movable barrier system includes a belt; a cable coupled to the belt; and a guide component disposed adjacent to a first interface between the cable and the belt.

The control device includes a speed regulation module for determining a first setpoint current value in dependence on a rotational speed of the adjustment drive, a servo regulation module for determining a second setpoint current value in dependence on a load acting on the vehicle assembly and a current regulation module for regulating a current of the adjustment drive.

Pivot hinge having an extendable and retractable pivot pin for pivotally connecting a pivotal door leaf with a structural element. The door leaf having an upper edge, lower edge, an inner side edge and an outer side edge. The pivot pin defining a vertical pivot axis. The pivot hinge further comprises a casing configured to be mounted to either the door leaf or the structural element, for example at the upper edge of the door leaf, e.g. at a corner region between the inner side edge and the upper edge of the door leaf, wherein the pivot pin is movably provided in a vertical passage within the casing, and a lever assembly adapted to move the pivot pin between a retracted position and an extended position. The lever assembly is located within the casing and comprises a lever member having a first end engaging the pivot pin, a fulcrum, and a second end, and a lever adjustment member and being in engagement with the second end of the lever such that operating the lever adjustment member causes the lever to pivot about the fulcrum, which in turn causes movement of the pivot pin between the retracted and extended positions.

A hinge for movably supporting at least one cover element on a stationary structure includes a first fitting portion to be arranged on the stationary structure, the first fitting portion having a bearing surface configured to bear against the stationary structure, and a second fitting portion configured to be arranged on the cover element. The hinge includes a hinge lever mechanism having at least on hinge axis, the two fitting portions being movable by the hinge lever mechanism substantially linearly between a first end position corresponding to a closed position of the cover element, and a second end position corresponding to an open position of the cover element. The hinge axis extends inclinedly to the bearing surface of the first fitting portion.

A vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft provides transportation to users of a network system. The fuselage may include a cabin having one or more seats for the passengers arranged in a configuration that has a compact footprint, provides legroom, provides visibility to surroundings of the aircraft, or facilitates convenient ingress or egress of passengers. The aircraft may open a port cabin door and starboard cabin door for simultaneous ingress or egress of passengers.
