TRANSPORTATION VEHICLE CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT WITH AIR CONTAMINANT DETECTION
An illustrative example embodiment of a climate control system for a transport vehicle includes an air handler configured to move air through for establishing a selected temperature in a cabin of the vehicle. A detector is associated with the climate control unit. The detector is configured to detect at least one of smoke and carbon monoxide in the cabin of the vehicle. A controller receives an indication from the detector and is configured to determine when smoke or carbon monoxide is detected. The controller is configured to provide an alarm when a detected level exceeds a preset threshold.
QUICK EXHAUST DEVICE
The present invention provides a quick exhaust device including: a first rod fixed at one end thereof to an inner lower portion or an inner intermediate portion of the exhaust window and mounted at the other end thereof so as to be upwardly inclined in a direction of being directed toward the inner surface of the exhaust window; a piston rod hingedly fixed at an upper end thereof to the other end of the first rod so as to be directed upwardly; a cylinder coupled to a lower portion of the piston rod so as to be directed upwardly to allow the piston rod to be withdrawn upwardly from the cylinder; and a first bracket fixed at one end thereof to the inner side of the wall at a lower portion of the exhaust port and hingedly fixed at the other end thereof to a lower portion of the cylinder.
COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM, VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM, AND VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD
Provided is a vehicle control system and vehicle control method. The vehicle control system includes: one or more image sensors disposed on a vehicle to have a field of view of an inside of the vehicle and configured to capture image data and process the captured image data; and a controller configured to control the vehicle according to a state of a child existing in the vehicle on the basis of the image data.
DETECTING AND DISABLING A VEHICLE LEFT RUNNING WHILE PARKED
A sensor device may detect that a vehicle is running in an enclosed environment monitored by the sensor device based on one or more artificial intelligence algorithms and detect that the vehicle is emitting exhaust into the enclosed environment based on the artificial intelligence algorithms. To ventilate the exhaust, the sensor device generates a first command that causes a door in the enclosed environment to open based on detecting that the vehicle is emitting the exhaust into the enclosed environment. Furthermore, to stop the vehicle from running and/or emitting the exhaust into the enclosed environment, the sensor device may generate a second command that causes an ignition switch on the vehicle to disengage. The sensor device transmits the first command and the second command to one or more devices for execution such that the exhaust is ventilated from the enclosed environment and the ignition switch on the vehicle is disengaged.
Safety hatch system
In one embodiment, an electronically controlled hatch system for safe ingress, egress, hazard detection, and methods thereof are provided to reduce or eliminate hazards to personnel, including protection of people above and below a scuttle hatch, access port, skylight or elevated deck. Said hatch system reduces the risk of falls while ascending or descending a ladder through an access port. In certain embodiments, severe weather, hazard, security, and other safety information are detected and transmitted to a central control unit for processing and regulating the opening and closing of a hatch covering the access port and/or raising and lowering a safety railing system based on said information and/or user input. Said hatch system may include an actuator and guides for automatically locking/unlocking and opening/closing a hatch, an actuator and guides for automatically raising/lowering a railing system, safety monitoring detectors/apparatuses, and a centralized controller.
Methods, systems, and products for detection of environmental conditions
Methods, systems, and products monitor environmental conditions in an enclosed environment, such as a garage or storage shed. If a dangerous environmental condition is determined, such as elevated carbon monoxide, an entry door may be opened. If further remedial measures are required, ignition of an internal combustion engine may be prohibited.
Sliding Window Emergency Opening System
Disclosed is a sliding window emergency opening system, comprising: an emergency opening device (2) and a general opening control device (3); wherein a first rotary shaft (202) in the emergency opening device is rotatably mounted on a first base (201); a first pulling cable (206) is wound around the first rotary shaft (202), and one end thereof is connected with a movable sash of the sliding window (1); a first ratchet (203) is fixedly connected with the first rotary shaft (202); a first elastic component is compressed to make a first pawl (204) abut against the first ratchet (203); a second rotary shaft (302) in the general opening control device (3) is rotatably mounted on a second base (301); one end of a general control pulling cable (303) is connected with the second rotary shaft (302), and the other end is connected with the first pawl (204); when the second rotary shaft (302) rotates, the general control pulling cable (303) is wound up to make the first pawl (204) detached from the first ratchet (203); under the action of the gravity of the movable sash in the sliding window, the first pulling cable (206) drives the first rotary shaft (202) to rotate so as to open the movable sash. In practical application, the general opening control device (3) may be provided at a location far from the emergency opening device (2), and the emergency opening device may be remotely controlled to open the movable sash.
Self-driving vehicle systems and methods
A vehicle fire is an emergency in which seconds count. Each second saved until the rider exits the vehicle can significantly reduce the severity of injuries due to the fire. Accordingly, a safety system can include a self-driving vehicle configured to transport a rider, a vehicle management system configured to autonomously drive the self-driving vehicle, a seat coupled to the self-driving vehicle, and a seat belt configured to alternatively have a buckled state and an unbuckled state. In many embodiments, the safety system includes a smoke detection system coupled to the self-driving vehicle and configured to detect smoke inside a cabin of the self-driving vehicle.

BUILDING SLIDING DOOR SYSTEM WITH FIRE PROTECTION MEANS
A building sliding door system separates a first building region from a second building region and has a frame structure that has a passage region and a wall shell region. A sliding door is displaced in the frame structure between a closed position and an open position, wherein the wall shell region at least partially receives the sliding door in the open position. An electromechanical drive unit and a control device control the displacement of the sliding door. A fire protection unit has a bracket and, movably mounted on the bracket, a fire protection device made of a material having a defined fire resistance. The fire protection device is horizontally displaceable within the wall shell region with respect to the bracket between a retracted position in which the sliding door is in the open position, and an extended position in which the sliding door is in the closed position.
