FINGER PROTECTION SECTION WITH INTEGRATED SWITCHING SYSTEM
An elastically resilient hollow section has an electrically operating switch rail that is fixedly integrated in a chamber of the hollow section. The switch rail has a jacket composed of an elastomer, and is actuable on a deformation of the hollow section. The switch rail projects freely from the hollow section at least one end of the hollow section.
Insulated window assembly
A main support frame is formed from sections of a plastic extrusion and has opposite side portions with peripheral recesses receiving an inner sash unit and outer sash unit each having a frame formed from sections of a plastic extrusion and supporting an insulated glass unit. Hinges support the dual sash units for pivotal movement between open and closed positions, and gear connected telescopic link members connect the main frame to the sash frames for simultaneous movement. A lock system includes a handle on the inner sash unit for moving straps with studs on the sash frames through a connector mechanism mounted on the main frame for simultaneously locking and releasing both sash units and for releasing only the inner sash unit. A screen and/or mini-blind can be supported between the sash units, and the window system with dual sash units may be constructed in various forms.
EXTRUDED GOOSE NECK HINGE
A goose neck hinge assembly for a motor vehicle includes a base portion extending from a panel attachment portion to a hinge portion. The base portion includes a rotation-resisting joint. The base portion includes a first structural element with first structural ribs. The first structural element is joined at the rotation-resisting joint to a second structural element. The second structural element includes second structural ribs. The first structural ribs and the second structural ribs are topology optimized providing bending resistance and structural reinforcement at predetermined locations. The rotation-resisting joint includes a recessed fastener. The first structural element extends from the hinge portion to the rotation-resisting joint and the second structural element extends from the rotation-resisting joint to the panel attachment portion.
SYNCHRONIZATION ROD FOR FURNITURE DRIVES
A synchronization rod for furniture drives for the synchronous moving of movable furniture parts, includes a coupling portion for connection to a furniture drive and a synchronization portion along a length of the synchronization rod, more particularly arranged between two opposite coupling portions. The synchronization portion, as seen in a cross-section taken orthogonally to the length, has a first outer contour portion in the form of a circular segment and a further outer contour portion, preferably adjacent to the first outer contour portion, having a geometry in a form that is not a circular segment. The circular segment comprises an angular range of between 250 and 330 and/or an angular range of between 180 and 350, and the further outer contour portion is arranged exclusively on one side of the synchronization rod.
Insulated window assembley
A screen and/or mini-blind may be supported between the sash units, and the window system with dual sash units may be constructed in various forms.
Protector with sensor and method of manufacturing the same
A first end of an insert fills up a space of a hollow part of a protector, and a second end includes an insulator to insulate a first wire connection part where a first leg of a resistor is piled on a first core wire from a second wire connection part where a second leg of the resistor is piled on a second core wire. Die-molding material covers the insulator, the first and second core wires, the resistor, the first and second legs, and the first and second wire connection parts. The insulator has a tabular shape, and the insulator has left and right side ends exposed from a part covered with the die-molding material. The insert includes a second protrusion on a connection part between the first and second ends of the insert. The second protrusion is closer to an inner side part than an inner surface of the insulator.
Living hinge formed by compressed material
A structure body having a resin molded body which can suppress deterioration of external appearance due to meander of the folded line formed in the hinge portion even when the resin constituting the resin molded body contains an inorganic fiber. The structure body has a resin molded body and the resin molded body includes: a first main body portion and a second main body portion; and a hinge portion; wherein the first main body portion and the second main body portion are connected at the hinge portion with each other so as to be rotatable with respect to each other; the hinge portion comprises a first thin portion, a second thin portion, and a thick portion.
