10793397 · 2020-10-06 · ·

Guide assemblies are provided which include a translation guide, a door leaf for a lift, movable along the guide and comprising at least one support element placed at one end of the door leaf, at least one runner housed slidably in the translation guide and defining one or more connection seats to the support element, wherein the connection seat/s and the support element can be coupled with at least two different orientations of the runner with respect to the door leaf. For each orientation, the runner delimits at least a different friction surface with respect to the translation guide, the friction surfaces being non-equidistant from the support element so that the relative position between the door leaf and the translation guide can be changed by different orientations of the runner. The invention further relates to runners usable in a guide assembly.

ELEVATOR SYSTEM LANDING DOOR UNLOCKING MECHANISM
20200283270 · 2020-09-10 ·

A landing floor door access system for an elevator system includes a door lock operably connected to a landing floor door, and a door lock controller operably connected to the door lock. The door lock controller is configured for non-contact communication with an access device such that communication between the access device and the door lock controller initiates a signal from the door lock controller to the door lock to deactivate the door lock. A method of accessing a hoistway of an elevator system, includes approaching a landing floor door of the elevator system, the landing floor door positioned at the hoistway, and initiating communication between an access device and a door lock of the landing floor door via non-contact interaction between the access device and the door lock. The door lock is deactivated via the non-contact interaction between the access device and the door lock.

A permanent magnet linear motor. The permanent magnet linear motor including a primary comprising a magnetically permeable core having a first face surface on a first side of the core a plurality of teeth forming a plurality of slots on the first side, and a plurality of multi-phase windings wound to have segments thereof in the slots forming a plurality of magnetic poles at each of the first face surfaces; a permanent magnet pair of opposing polarity configured to produce magnetic flux and cause the primary to exert a force on the secondary when the plurality of multiphase windings are excited by a multiphase source; and a passive ferromagnetic secondary adjacent to but spaced from the first face surface, the passive ferromagnetic secondary being moveable with respect to the primary.

Fire-rated sliding glass elevator door

A fire-rated sliding elevator glass door is provided. The door includes a face panel, a liner, a fire-rated glass panel, and a retainer that retains the glass panel in the door frame. The elevator door is configured to pass a 90-minute fire rating test. The elevator door can be implemented as a single-speed side open elevator door, a single-speed center open elevator door, a two-speed side opening sliding elevator door, or a two-speed center opening sliding elevator door. A method of constructing the fire-rated elevator door is provided.

DEVICE FOR UNLOCKING A LANDING DOOR
20200071132 · 2020-03-05 ·

A device for unlocking a landing door includes a door leaf that can be moved between an open position and a closed position, a bar arranged on the door leaf to lock the door leaf in the closed position, and an energy accumulator coupled to the door leaf to provide the energy for moving the door leaf into the closed position in the event that the energy supply needed to drive the door leaf fails. The energy accumulator is coupled to the door leaf by an elastic element such that through a displacement of the energy accumulator when the door leaf is in the closed position, the bar is moved to an unlocked position.

Method for the manufacture of a sill for a lift door and sill
10549955 · 2020-02-04 · ·

A sill (1, 1) for a lift door is manufactured with a method that includes the steps of providing at least one support element (2) and an upper profile (4) that defines at least a boundary surface (6) of a first groove longitudinal (8) for slidingly receiving a lift door. The support element (2) and the upper profile (4) are joined, placing a first demarcation profile (10, 10) alongside the upper profile (4), so that a boundary surface (12) of the first demarcation profile delimits part of the first longitudinal groove (8). A sliding transversal cross-section of the first longitudinal groove (8) is adjusted by approaching/distancing the boundary surfaces (6, 12) and, having obtained a desired sliding transversal cross-section, constraining the mutual position of the first demarcation profile (10, 10) and of the upper profile (4).

REVERSING DETECTION FOR AN ELEVATOR CAR DOOR
20240077640 · 2024-03-07 · ·

A light grid for mounting on an elevator car door for object detection and for determining periodic door movements, including transmitter elements that emits radiation with a specific intensity, receiver elements for receiving the radiation from an assigned transmitter element, and a control device for evaluating the receiver elements in regard to interruption of the radiation coming from an assigned transmitter element and for outputting a signal for object recognition upon interruption. At least one receiver element is configured to output an intensity value for the received radiation. The control device evaluates the intensity value and distinguishes separate high, medium and low intensity value ranges with high, medium and low intensity values, and performs an alternation phase with at least one alternating from the low via the medium to the low intensity value range and to output a signal in the event of an alternation phase having been recognized.
