The present disclosure relates to an apparatus which communicates with a voice recognition device, and a method for controlling an apparatus with a voice recognition capability which operates in the Internet of Things environment configured by a 5G communication network. According to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, an apparatus with a voice recognition capability includes a container which has one open surface and accommodates objects therein, a door which opens/closes the container, a sensor which senses an open/closed state of the door, a microphone which receives an external voice, a voice recognizer which recognizes a voice command received from the microphone, and a controller which controls an active state and an inactive state of the voice recognizer, in which the controller may predict whether the voice recognizer needs to be activated using a deep neural network model learned through the machine learning.

A motorized hinge device (1) has a first connection means (3) assigned to be fixed to a structure or framework of an appliance, and connected, at least by means of a connecting rod means (5), to a second connection means (7) assigned to be fixed to a door of the appliance. This second connection means (7) is hinged to the first connection means (3) by means of a hinge pin means (11). An actuator (13) has a body (15) fixed to the first connection means (3) and a movable member (17) which is movable with respect to the body (15) and is connected to the connecting rod means (5). In an operative condition, the actuator means (13) is operated to move, by means of the connecting rod means (5), the door around the hinge pin means (11) between extreme opening (A) and closing (C) conditions, and vice versa.

The object of the invention is the hinge for controlled door closing and opening with damper which solves the technical problem of smooth and controlled closing and opening of the door before the end positions of the hinge, i.e. the open or closed position of the door. The damper fit surface (25) and the damper head fit surface (26) are always in contact with two of the limiting surfaces, i.e. two of the following: the damper stop on the housing for closing (21), the damper stop on the housing for opening (22), the damper stop on the guide for opening (23) and the damper stop on the guide for closing (24), whereby the damper (5) in the initial position constantly applies force in the direction of extension, meaning that the damper (5) constantly applies force to increase the distance between the damper fit surface (25) and the damper head fit surface (26), whereas the hinge guide (3) is dimensioned in such a way that the distance between the damper stop on the guide for opening (23) and the damper stop on the guide for closing (24) is smaller than the maximum distance between the damper fit surface (25) and the damper head fit surface (26).
