Hinge system for touchless commercial appliances
A contactless laundry treating apparatus may include a cabinet having a front panel defining an access opening configured to receive laundry items, door attached to the front panel via a hinge assembly, where the hinge assembly may include a hydraulic system arranged on an interior of the front panel within the cabinet configured to engage with a connecting hook arranged within the door to selectively apply an outward force on the connecting hook to open the door and an inward force on the connecting hook to close the door.
Washing machine and control method thereof
A washing machine includes: a case defining a receiving space and an open surface, a drawer provided in the case and configured to slide out through the open surface of the case, the drawer being configured to perform at least one of a washing operation, a rinsing operation, a spin-drying operation, or an air-drying operation for laundry, and a locking device configured to limit a sliding motion of the drawer relative to the case. The locking device includes: a holder provided on an inner wall surface of the case, a lever provided in the drawer and configured to be inserted into the holder, and an elastic member provided in a portion of the holder to which the lever is inserted and configured to come into contact with the lever in a space between the holder and the lever.
HINGE ASSEMBLY FOR AN APPLIANCE LID AND INSTALLATION METHOD THEREFOR
A laundry appliance includes a cabinet having a top panel that defines an aperture for selectively accessing a treatment chamber defined within the cabinet. A lid is rotationally operable relative to the aperture of the top panel between open and closed positions. Hinge assemblies extend between the lid and the top panel. The hinge assemblies include a first hinge assembly. A second hinge assembly is selectively retractable into the lid to a retracted position. A biasing member biases the second hinge assembly out to an extended position. At least the second hinge assembly is operable to the retracted position to bypass a portion of the top panel to define an installed position where the first and second hinge assemblies are engaged with respective hinge receptacles of the top panel.
WASHING MACHINE
A washing machine having a structure to electrically connect electronic parts inside a door of the washing machine to different electronic parts inside a cabinet of the washing machine. The washing machine includes: the cabinet which is equipped with a first electronic part therein, the cabinet having an opening to put in laundry; the door which is equipped with a second electronic part therein and is configured to open or close the opening of the cabinet; a hinge assembly configured to pivotally connect the door with the cabinet; and a wire configured to be inserted through the hinge assembly to electrically connect the electronic parts of the cabinet and the electronic parts of the door.
Lock, lid lock and locking mechanism
A lock, a lid lock and a locking mechanism are provided. The lock includes a base, and a driving mechanism, a connecting mechanism and a locking mechanism which are provided on the base. The base is buckled to a housing. The connecting mechanism has a first end connected to the driving mechanism, and a second end thereof connected to the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism is rotatably connected to the base to perform a locking operation or an unlocking operation. A return spring is sleeved on the locking mechanism, one end of the return spring is connected to the housing, and the other end to the locking portion of the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism is connected to a control system. In the unlocking operation, the control system determines that the locking portion is disconnected to the return spring according to the locking portion in an unfolded position relative to the base, and determines that the locking mechanism is connected to the return spring according to the locking mechanism in a retracted position relative to the base.
Door latch for an electrical domestic appliance
A door latch for an electrical domestic appliance includes a rotary member arranged to be rotationally movable between a closing rotational position and a release rotational position and is spring-biased in the direction towards the release rotational position, a movably arranged catch that is in an arresting engagement with the rotary member when the rotary member is in the closing rotational position, and a locking assembly that includes a movable locking member movable between an unlocking position and a locking position. The arresting engagement is releasable by an overlifting rotational movement of the rotary member. The rotary member is rotationally movable between a closing rotational position and a release rotational position and is spring-biased in the direction towards the release rotational position. The locking member, when transferred from the unlocking position into the opening position, causes the arresting engagement of the catch with the rotary member to be released.
Laundry treating apparatus
A laundry treating apparatus may include a main body having a front panel having a laundry inlet port through which laundry may be loaded, and a door rotatably coupled to the front panel to open and close the laundry inlet port. The door may include an outer frame provided with an opening and facing an outside of the main body; a front glass coupled to a front surface of the outer frame to cover the opening; an inner frame coupled to a rear surface of the outer frame and facing an inside of the main body; a handle provided at a rear surface of the inner frame in a direction opposite to the front glass to receive a user's hand to pull the door while the door is closed; a hook that protrudes from an outer circumference of the outer frame to cover a side surface of the handle; and a hook coupling portion that protrudes from the side surface of the inner frame to engage with the hook.
Various hinge brackets and a hinge receiver for a laundry appliance
A hinge bracket to couple a hinge to a lid of a laundry appliance comprising: an elongated slot receiving a connector portion of a hinge; first fastener receivers extending from the elongated slot laterally inward toward a midline of a cabinet of the laundry appliance and configured to cooperate with fastener receivers of the hinge to receive fasteners that fasten the hinge to the hinge bracket; second fastener receivers on an opposite side of the hinge bracket as the first fastener receivers and configured to cooperate with the fastener receivers through a C-shaped lip of the lid to receive fasteners fastening the lid to the hinge bracket; and an indented portion formed laterally away from the elongated slot and facing the curved portion of the hinge. The laundry appliance can further include a hinge receiver to couple the hinge to a cabinet.
Laundry treating apparatus
A laundry treating apparatus may include a main body provided with a front panel having a laundry inlet port, and a recess recessed into the front panel to surround the laundry inlet port; and a door rotatably coupled to the front panel to open and close the laundry inlet port, and having a portion thereof protruding forward from the recess. The door may include an outer frame facing an outside of the recess; a front glass attached to a front surface of the outer frame; an inner frame coupled to a rear surface of the outer frame, the inner frame facing an inside of the recess; and a handle recessed into a rear surface of the inner frame so as to face a portion where the recess starts to be recessed.
Blade hinge assembly with closure mechanism
A household appliance hinge includes a mounting portion and a mounting tab including a cam profile. A door mounting lever is pivotally connected to the mounting tab of the mounting portion. A spring-biased control system is connected to the door mounting lever and includes a spring-biased cam follower system including a cam follower that: (i) engages the cam profile in an engagement position and for all positions of the door mounting lever between the engagement position and a first operative position; and, (ii) separates from the cam profile for all positions of said door mounting lever located between the engagement position and a second operative position. The hinge is self-latching.
