METHOD FOR PREPARING BIONIC COLLAGEN AQUEOUS SOLUTION AND USE METHOD THEREOF
A bionic collagen aqueous solution, and a preparation method therefor and a use method thereof. By adding simulated body fluid components, the ion components and ion strength of the collagen aqueous solution are regulated, the pH value is regulated, and a tissue microenvironment is simulated. By adding connecting molecules, the binding of collagen molecules to tissues is improved, and the biocompatibility of the collagen aqueous solution is enhanced. The concentration of the collagen aqueous solution is greater than 0.1 wt. % and less than or equal to 10 wt. %. The collagen aqueous solution is used to cover the surface of the skin in the form of a dressing, can also be applied to the body in an injected manner. The bionic collagen aqueous solution simulates some characteristics of pre-repaired tissue, has a good biocompatibility, and delays the degradation of collagen molecules during use, which is beneficial for tissue repair and regeneration.
PLATELET LYSATE GEL
The invention concerns a pharmaceutical composition comprising a platelet lysate and its use to treat a wound, an anal fissure, vaginal atrophy or a wrinkle.
Super absorbent polymer and preparation method thereof
The super absorbent polymer according to the present invention has reduced 3-hour saline solution re-wet while having a high absorption rate and absorption against pulp, and thus can be used for hygienic materials such as diapers, thereby exhibiting excellent performance.
PHARMACEUTICAL PREPARATION AND METHOD OF ITS PRODUCTION AND USE
Thus, the present invention provides a composition in powder form comprising highly dispersed silica particles, polymethylsiloxane particles, and a cationic surfactant, wherein at least 25% by weight of the cationic surfactant is present in primary polymethylsiloxane particles carrying the cationic surfactant on their surface and/or in agglomerates of these primary particles.
Devices and methods and agent-assisted medical procedures
Various embodiments of bulking or cushioning agents or material and related medical devices and methods are disclosed. For example, a method of performing a medical procedure in a tract of a body may include injecting a material in a liquid phase proximate a target site between a first tissue layer and a second tissue layer, allowing the material to transition from the liquid phase to the gel phase in response to a raise in temperature of the material to approximately at or above the predetermined temperature, and performing a surgical procedure on the target site. The material may have the liquid phase at temperatures below a predetermined temperature and a gel phase at temperature approximately at or above the predetermined temperature.
PEPTIDE COMPOUND WITH REPETITIVE SEQUENCES
The present disclosure relates to ultrashort peptides capable of forming a gel, to a gel comprising a peptide in accordance with the present disclosure, and to a method of preparing such gel. Such gel is a hydrogel or an organogel. The peptides are suitable bioinks for a bioprinter to build 3D structures through 3D printing as well as other applications.
Silicone scar treatment preparation
Disclosed is 1) a method for greatly increasing the solubility of useful actives in siloxane matrix-forming preparations, and 2) the associated preparations, themselves. Volatilizing coagents are utilized to give novel gels containing heretofore siloxane-insoluble additives.
HEMOSTATIC AGENT AND METHOD OF PRODUCTION THEREOF
A composition and method of preparing the composition for rapid and effective hemostasis is provided. The composition includes a first agent to induce platelet plug formation, a second to induce vasoconstriction and a third agent for activation of coagulation cascade. The composition comprises of 0.01% to 5% of chitosan; 0.01% to 0.25% of potassium aluminum sulphate; and 0.01% to 0.25% calcium salt. The clotting time of the composition is in the range of 30s to 140s. A method of preparing the hemostatic composition is further disclosed. The composition is configured to control hemorrhage from oozing and pressured bleeding injury any site in human/animal body.
Hemostatic compositions
The invention discloses a hemostatic composition comprising: a) a biocompatible polymer in particulate form suitable for use in hemostasis, and b) one hydrophilic polymeric component comprising reactive groups.
MATERIAL TO FORM A HYDROGEL
A soft film, a sponge, or a sheet in the dried state is provided, which is capable of forming a hydrogel absorbing water or blood. The film is obtainable by preparing a film-state material in the dried state from either a solution of poly(acrylic acid) or a solution of polyvinylpyrrolidone, and bringing the film-state material into contact with the other remaining solution, and then drying or freeze-drying it.
